Also, no reason to be either. Bella's fears are believable and Edward does what he can to quell them. That's all any of us can ask for in life and in love.

Those boys at the gas station, how mean can they be? Really talking about Bella so crude. Saying things about Edward acting the way he was to just get a piece and discard for the others to pick up to get their share. Edward has done everything in his power with his facebook, text, talking face to face, showing her his favorite haunts, watching the sunset, favorite restaurants, attending a concert of a band they both love, and exchanging ipods for music playlists or download new playlists for her. He wants her, but not just for physical pleasure. He wants the total package. Bella is insecure enough to believe what she heard from those creeps at the gas station. Now she is doubting Edward's motives, but too frightened to ask him for clarification. Now they are kissing on the picnic table watching the sunset seriously necking and petting. What is Bella's reaction going to be? Will she think it's just progression with them of their feelings for each? Or will she think he's making his move to have her and she's going to drop him before he'll dump her? Hopefully what he has said about laughing with her, not reaching out to anyone but Emmett and Jasper. That he always noticed her, but too shy to approach her. Granted if he had told Bella that the request to join his facebook was done as a joke by Emmett it would change things. She would be embarrassed and would curl up into her shell again. Not thinking that Edward is really interested in her not just to use her physically and walk away. Edward doesn't want to leave her, he wants Bella in his life. He is crazy about her. She is crazy about him. These two need to open up and discuss their feelilngs. He already implied Bella's as his girlfriend. Bet she didn't pick up on it either. Thinking just another line to get her. Well looking forward to future chapters.
