Much as I like this story with all it's angst and melodrama...raise your hand, if you're ready to slap Bella silly! I get the back story to this particular version of Bella that explains why she has all these self esteem issues, and can't but believe that she'll never be good enough for anyone... But, can we have her go to therapy or something? Her incessant whining and snivelling is starting to annoy.
I can only hope she pulls herself out of her self absorption of all things negative in her life and either is truthful with Edward, or let's him go.
Obviously, recalling the prologue where Bella wonders how she let things get so bad? She never does get over her self absorption.
I don't mean to be so harsh...I do like this story, for the most part, *sigh* I think I just overdosed on one too many weak and simpering Bella stories and this one is the last straw. Guess it's all sounding so cliche now and I'm ready for something different.
Help prove me wrong..give Bella a back bone...

I really hope that Bella remembers everything in the morning and that there isn't anymore awkwardness between them. And I hope that Edward figures out that the only thing keeping Bella from him is our fear and insecurity of not being good enough for him. These two are so sweet and my heart aches for them. I love this story and can't wait until you update again.

Okay, I'm just getting angry. Angry that James is a fucker, angry that Bella is letting him treat her that way, angry that she is afraid and feels unworthy, angry that this whole situation could be reversed if people would just talk and let out their true feelings!!!! Alright, I get that she has all kinds of f*ed up insecurities and self worth issues. What girl doesn't? I can understand her side a little better, but I still feel really terrible for Edward. It sucks to be your own worst enemy and it seems that she is screwing things up better than he ever could have. I like the angsty-ness of the story so far and I really like stories that have some sadness to them. It makes for an even better happy ending. I hope you have a HEA in store for us! On to Chapter 3...

this story is painful in sooo many ways but i cant stop reading i love this story it just hurts when something like that is happening to you my ex told me i deserve better and hooked up with someone else to prove the point so yea its sad but so well written and i really cant wait
