This just keeps getting better and better! I like at you threw a little of the original story line in there...and Edward still has the "Edwardisms" that make him a little flawed, but still perfect in very way.

Love the AN you started out with. I whole-heartedly concur. Most written sex (esp. in the FanFic world) is nowhere near healthy or realistic. Which is why after reading that I lauged so hard at the hand-towel part.

WOW - the Renee conversation was fantastic. I truly hope I'm that cool with my kids (I plan on it but you never know how you'll really react when faced with things). And I love Edward bein gsuch a gentleman with her.
But I think the chapter might have been stollen by Bella's memories of her conversation with Jacob. Such a different twist and yet so close to the original. It's a very believable take on the canon conversation - the difference if she'd known what the Cullen's were going into the beach trip.

I had wondered if the pink dildo was based on experience of her being unable to actually picture anything beyond a ken doll. That mother-daughter sex talk sounds just like something Renee woud do. I always thought it odd that canon Bella had reaches 17 without, not only a boyfriend but, apparently experiencing any desire or curiousity or exploration. Seems much more 17 yo to have experimented, but much sadder to have done so without any real need to be met.

Nice - not perfect like it is often written. I appreciate the laughter and wiggling and talking and just trying to figure things out. It isn't awkward, just unknown and they're learning together. It is very well written dual losing of the big V.

"Do you find the pacing believable?" hmmm if I stop and think about it being only two days, perhaps not. But while I'm in the story and the mate for life, perfect soul mate, aspect is there and real, time doesn't seem to matter. When you have found the person that is perfet for you, whether you've waiting 17 years or 104, it just seems right You've written this convincingly enough - that they are so wrapped up in love and lust and just fallen into each other.

Moving along quickly when not denying himself. Love the kiss in the cafeteria - that he's lost enough to forget siblings and the passage of time but remembers to warn about his teeth. And that she's into it enough to just go with it. The the freak out in bio. Somehow you manage to have the poor boy whiplashing and yet it all seems plausible and like realistic reactions to everything he is being put through.

I like the major changes that happen just based on the logic idea that if vampires fall in love immediately and irrevocably, Bella being Edward's mate is an established fact. Rose, for instance, while she may not like it just has to accept that it is true. Like several other brilliantly written stories, you are filling in plot holes and inconsistencies from canon.

Question: with as often as they're snogging and Edward is tasting, even though it's a small amount, depending on how thirsty he is, shouldn't it be affecting his eye colour a bit? At least enough for the family to notice and maybe worry the Quileutes will notice, too?

I just had to email and tell you how much I love chapter 3! Emmett especially had me laughing outloud with his descriptions of the Cullens' antics! Thank you so much for this story - I love this different (and more true to teenage life) progression of Bella and Edward's relationship.

First of all, I totally agree with everything you said at the beginning of the chapter. If young people started out with a realistic and healthy idea of how sex should/can be, we'd have a lot more happy, well adjusted adults out there.
I continue to enjoy this story so much, I hope the Bella/Jacob relationship stays this way - friendly and humorous withouth the ridiculous "love triangle" which is, to me, the most unrealistic part of SM's books. If you have your soulmate, there's no way you could be torn the way Bella is and I'm speaking from experience!!
