Well Emmett certainly got the measure of Rose.  I wasn't expecting their pasts to have been so difficult but you can see how that would shape a person, thank God they found each other.  I can't wait to see Edward's face when he finds out *snigger*.  Jane x

Oh Bella don't think of it as one day down, that only makes you look more towards the end rather than enjoying the now.  How are these two going to explain each other to their friends and families, it could make for some awkward conversations if they say we met on the internet - hmmm, how exactly? Well I'm glad they're back talking and Bella came clean about her reasons for going on the date.  At least they both know now that they have more that casual feelings for each other.  I'm looking forward to them meeting, could be interesting, in more way than one.  Jane x

Edward you're such a dork.  You know you hurt the woman you love and then what do you, you turn around and hurt her again.  You don't explain why you felt doubt about the future.  You lumped her into a group of woman without realizing this was Bella.  She traveled to meet you in New York for New Year's.  Made arrangements to meet you over Spring Break.  You both made sure to contact the other daily by some means of communication.  Since you talked with Emmett, you've hardly said anything to her.  The only time you tell her you're not sure if she'll be in your future.  Living together, marriage, children.  Look first thing she said was living together.  Remaining as a committed couple was all you needed to mention to her.  She wasn't looking for a marriage proposal or a plan of having 2.5 children, white picket fence.  She wanted to know what you felt and where you saw the relationship going from here.  She'll go through school and without some idea of where you both were heading as a couple to make plans for after graduation.  You didn't give her anything.  "I don't know."  Slap in her face, like she's nothing but something to get off with either in person or on the computer.  Saying "I love you," doesn't mean anything just words because you're not living up to them.  Those are words to get physical with her.  They have no substance or reality.  You treated her like she was a kept woman while with you.  Just there for your pleasure, but not as a person you adored.  You better get your buns to California.  Too bad you didn't take a flight out after talking to your mom.  You had to wait for her to be in the hospital.  Great going guy.  You need to get your act together.  I don't blame Bella for leaving and going home.  I would have left you after you went into the hospital on your vacation time.  You would have found a dark apartment with nothing.  Not even a note I left.  Now you know how she has felt for days without your affection, speaking, etc... She felt like she was on an island all alone.  You were locked in a tower with no way to reach you.  You left her floundering in the nothingness.

OMG!...i totally fell in love with your story! I had to read it all the way through! I am exhausted...but so glad i stayed up to read this! I understand totally about RL kickin you around...I just can not wait til the next chapter! I also understand that it takes a lot of dedication and a lot of work to crank out a story this EPIC!!!!!!

I hope these kids can get their acts together before too long!
