There is a nice rapport between Edward and Bella. He knows how to soothe her ills and get her to talk. I feel like Edward is confused by Bella's anguish whether she likes Mike or is just creeped out that he propositioned her in his office. I hope that I am on the right track there. It is clear that she is unaware that Edward likes her.

Thanks for the fun story..(so far.) Like I said previously, it is a totally different experience to follow a new Fanfic from inception. I usually look for pieces that have at least 20 or 15 chapters or are completed before I start. But frankly, I like your writing so much that I am honored to take this ride with you.

Uh oh, this doesn't look good. Bella must have something bad in her past. Rape? Abusive boyfriend? Something. But at least Edward finally had the cojones to make a move. Jasper will help Bella to open up, hopefully.

Wow. For some reason, I spaced on the fact that chapters 7 and 8 had been updated, and when I went to read 9, I had three glorious chapters waiting for me! I appreciate fic that has not only high-quality writing, but that keeps the plot going and rolls us along. Great job of striking a good balance among readability, character deelopment, and progress!
