Oh Edward, you truly are a social retard, but your intentions and ideas are bang on.  I just marathoned and caught up; now update!  I'm impatient ;)

Beilliant idea.  And take it from someone who used to volunteer with recovery of rape victims, it is a system that does work.  By giving the control back to the victim, they know that the person with them won't overstep the lines.  They get past their demons with the knowledge that they don't HAVE to do anything, that what they want, and what they think they can handle is in their control.  Eventually, they come around to wanting to be touched without having to lead the way.  The trust that is built with their partners in the process is usually unflappable after all is said and done, and steady as a rock.

Excellent work on the story.  Can't wait for more.

I was wondering when we would hit her freak out line after all the flirting in the last chapter and the beginning of this one. Edward was very good after he saw her reaction. I wonder whether she has had any psychiatric help in the past to move past what Jonathan did to her. I loved that Charlie was on the task force that caught the bastard. I was also glad to hear that the jerk was in prison since three other women testified that he violated them this way. It was absolutely hilarious that Billy Black shot him in the testicles, so I guess that he won't be doing that again.

Edward's plan was confusing. It did take until the end to understand that he planned for Bella to take the lead in the progression of their sexual relationship.

Thanks for another great chapter. I look forward to the next update.

Yeah, the "confusing" thing was intentional.  Remember he's a poor communicator a lot of the time.  Intuitive and well meaning, but crappy at communicating.  Possibly he should have told Jasper his plan and had Jasper tell Bella... :)

I never quite know what to expect with this story and that just makes it that much more enjoyable.  I am head over heels in love with your Edward.  He is just so goofy/sexy/funny/vunerable/giving/sweet/hot - Gah!  But I don't want him because you have made care about your Bella so much and she neeeeeeds him.

How many more chapters are we talking here?  Me thinks I need to research methods of gushing if you plan more than one or two.  I already sound like a broken record!

I'm not sure how many more chapters there are, but I've thought "about three more" for the last...twelve...chapters. :)  I would say there are at least four more.  Maybe ten.  I know where the story's going, I just don't know what else might happen before we get there, and how long it'll take! :)

Edward is so wonderful in this story. I hope that works for them, and I can't WAIT to read what happens when Charlie meets Edward XD
