Poor Marcus, I feel really badly for him. Losing a mate, it sounds like he's been in purgatory for a really long time. I am happy to know what the feeding thing is about, it's pretty much what I was anticipating. Really, it makes sense. I just wish that Bella had paid attention. No wonder Alice had reacted the way she did. I'm very curious as to what Carlisle was doing with the records, I wonder if he was really looking for what he said or if he lied for some reason. I guess I'm a suspicious person. Bella's power is rather bizarre. Not sure I like it, it makes it too easy to be suspicious of every relationship if I were her, especially since she has no control over it. She seems to be really accepting at the idea of being Marcus' mate, which is really interesting.

Wow. That was an interesting insight into Bella's abilities. She does have some intriguing powers and she is right to question the validity of the feelings of those around her.
I loved the dress and very much enjoyed their conversation about mating and remating. The sharing of a meal was fascinating.
Once Bella learns to let go of her anger, perhaps she will discover that she has already been mated....

This is an amazing story. From everything I have read, a vampire mates for life. So...that would mean that Edward and Bella are mated. When will Bella come to realize this in her head? Thanks for an awesome story. I look forward to reading more.

Arrggh I hate this. I hate that she still thinks edward doesn't love her and is standing by his families decision and not for himself. And I hate that Bella made her choice to be with Marcus because he's already been hurt before. Please say it's not too late.
