I reviewed chapter 7 yesterday but the review was obviously lost while the site was acting up, so I'll try again.

Edward's father came around and offered quite a handsome apology for his reaction, and the same solution Bella and Edward had come up with. Smart man, obviously his son's father! Now, I'm from Europe and I don't quite understand why the idea of sleeping with your boss/the boss' son is such a taboo in the US. Admittedly, over here it would be material for really juicy office gossip and probably catty and/or snide remarks, but it's not taboo and I much doubt you could get fired for it either. Why would the company somehow be held responsible if two consenting adults who just happen to work for the same company want to have sex outside of office hours?
So Bella has a past we haven't seen before. What was that really bad place she was in when she had to move in with Rose, I'd guess a relationship that ended badly?
FINALLY! Edward said ILY! Now we are impatiently all waiting for Bella's POV at the airport... And you are even asking if we want more - come on girl, what do you think?!
Author's Response: Yeah, employment law in the states can be pretty hairy. And peeps here are very sue happy, so firing for sleeping with someone could be grounds for a wrongful termination lawsuit. That is why many companies have employees sign agreements to not hold the company liable should it end badly. Changes can be made to their position, department, etc. but usually they cannot just be fired outright for screwing someone.
