Ouch. Those feet have got to be hurting her. Yeah. I once stepped on glass, not a fun memory. Loved the chapter and cannot wait for more!!

Thanks! I know! Not only has broken glass happened to my feet (and John Maclaine's), I also have flat feet and before it was discovered as the reason for problems, let me tell you it was hell. What I'm all in awe about is that no one is curious or surprised about the bars in the window. Maybe everyone reviewing has some prior knowledge of La Femme Nikita, or I have been able to get across the feel of the place well. Next up, Bella will start her new life.

I used to watch the tv show and im so excited to see these two stories being put together!!!!

Cant wait for the next chapter! I hope this Edward is as hot and mysterious as Michael was...:)

The hotness of Edward is obviously upto you and how you like this Edward ;)) Next up (in a week or ten, depending on my muse), Bella will find out about the bars and settle down into her new life...

What a surprise to see LFN and Twilight together.  I definitely see Billy as Walter and Newton as Birkoff, even Esme as Madeline.  Edward and Bella as Michael and Nikita is intriguing...I just hope that you venture towards some more original plotline than just the show though.  I love them both but don't want to just read shows rehashed (I have DVD's for that).  I don't think I could wait through 5 seasons worth of angst for an ambiguous ending in reading the fiction.  Please keep the essence of the show and book but make it your own.

Hmmmmm. It is not my intention to shoddily rehash the show into a fanfic, but wether or not I succeed is upto the individual reader. I can't quite grasp just what you mean by "some more original plotline". The show is five seasons long and I definitely won't write all the stuff that happened there. I intend to keep some parts, throw most of them out, add my own two cents and twist it around a bit...but I don't know how "original" I will or can get in the confines of this universe. My Bella won't be Nikita re-named nor the same old Bella from the books, and the same goes for Edward. These first chapters haven't yet covered one episode of LFN. I am not writing this as a chapter per episode or heaven forbid, five chapters per original episode, I'm writing this as a one full story with some missions and some calm times, and the ending...well. I personally hope that once we get there, it would be realistic without being too depressing. Thanks for your review, I hope you keep reading.

i watched random episodes of la femme nikita and really liked it, and now to find a story that blends that and twilight is like a nicely wrapped present! please update soon!

I haven't given up and I have started the next chapter but it will take some time before an update. Maybe a week, if we're lucky! That is the story I intend to update next, at least! Thank you for your nice review!!

Nice job.  I always liked Nikita and adored Michael.  Edward as deadly, cold,  Michael is wonderful and Bella should make an interesting Nikita. Update soon.

See, I thought that, too. It's interesting to place Edward in a situation where he can't (even if he wanted to) protect and coddle Bella like he does in the books, but is in fact forced to hurt her both mentally and physically (the training, plus the missions later on). I adored Michael, and Nikita was my hero. It's just a bonus that Billy (IMO) works very well for Walter and that he thought of ever-so nice Esme as Madeline gives me the nice sort of creeps...thanks for reviewing!!

I take it you are a fan of the show then? Not many Twilight fans seem to know it...I guess they're generally a bit too young? It's hard to fathom that the show premiered THIRTEEN YEARS ago! (Beats Alias and the later creation, 24, by a mile!)  It would be great to brainstorm with you about the coming twists of this story...if you want to? :)

There will be more Edward, but this is a suspense first and foremost. I'll do what I can, in the confines of the premise though!

great first chapter!

I love Billy :-) He really is good, and i like the toy flirting way he has with Bella.  Bella is totally intrigued with Edward, which is great, as Im sure theres plenty more to come there as we delve into Edwards character more?

And what new characters are gonna come in ? :-) I have a few Id like to see there.

Generally I love the idea of the story and think that it can go really far

Well, as you know we will get to know more about Edward but he will remain a mysterious/controversial character through out, just like his counterpart Michael in the original show. We should be seeing Alice relatively soon and Emmett and Rosalie witll guest star sooner or later but the core cast of the story is almost in place. And thanks for reviewing at FFnet too. Now if someone else did, as well...!!! :)

Interesting, also reminds me of "Point of No Return" with Bridget Fonda.  Good movie, looking forward to more of this story...

Actually, "Point of No Return" is an american version of the original french film La Femme Nikita (by Luc Besson) to which the television series (La Femme) Nikita is based on, although with some changes. Obviously the series is somewhatdifferent from the film(s) as the films are merely a startíng point for all that's going on in Section One and with the characters. Unlike Bridget Fonda did in the movie, you cannot escape Section One. I hope you'll keep reviewing :)
