I'm not sure that selling Em's Jeep and buying a van was a great way of telling him she was pregant.  I'd have been furious if someone had done that to me but it did make for a hilarious scene.  Edward is forgiven, y me anyway.  I hope Bella can do the same, they both need to get over the past

I don't hate him...I can appreciate his honesty. Great chapter!

I don't hate Edward. He is not that much of a Douchenozzle.

I am glad he stopped himself and looked for help right away. He really is trying.

I take it that at this point, Edward does not know about Jazz visiting Bella? I have a feeling he will be as upset about that as he was about the calls between Esme and Bella.

I do look forward to hearing more about Jazz's visit.

I so like reading Edward's POV. But I think seeing more than 1 POV is helpful.

" His head hit the concrete walk with a sickening thud, and blood bloomed out from a small cut on his temple. "
----> Emmett's head hit the CONCRETE??? Thank you that he did not get any more hurt than he did. That could have been disasterous.

Naomi is cool. Good job.

I love e-mails and messages between characters. Please keep that going.

Looking forward to next update!

Never hated Edward.  Angry at his behavior yes.  Getting upset that Bella didn't call him but once a week, but called Esme every day.  I could understand his side, but leaving was childish and immature.  Granted I was upset with Bella for not sending any message to Edward.  As I said last chapter, Bella could have sent a quick message, read email need time to collect my thoughts and feelings to reply back.  At least Edward would have known she was thinking about it.  But Bella needs to start working on her side.  Which with the help of Jasper in Jacksonville will start soon. Edward expedited his appointment and I think when he starts writing down the things that make him guilty and why, he's going to see how crazy his guilt feelings are.  Especially when Edward writes down what he would think about close friends in the same situation, would they feel guilty and beat themselves up?  The journal of his feelings will help him express his feelings of sadness, joy, anxiety, lonliness, and a hundred other.  So he can analyze what his triggers are to send him in a downward spiral of emotions.  Learn how to overcome each and every trigger and develop strategies to eliminate or avoid the triggers from occurring.  Having a great appointment with his therapist and wanting some male bonding for the evening.  He didn't get it since Jasper is with Bella in Florida.  Emmett upset about Rosalie trading in his jeep for the goobermobile (van--that's what my 14 year old calls our van).  It's understandable his feelings, but she was so excited about being pregnant she rushed into needing the family car now.  If Rosalie had told him first, Emmett probably would have traded the jeep in willingly for a family van.  Poor Edward got into the middle of that drama.  Emmett fainted and fell on Edward.  Then Rosalie's reaction when Emmett fell and cut his head, she fainted.  Edward has sure gotten himself into some predicaments since Bella has returned to Florida.  Alice is a great help for him.  A huge support system to bounce some ideas off of her.  I think he'll be able to express his true emotions and feelings to his therapist.  Learning temptation is out in the world.  Every day, everyone is tempted to do something they shouldn't.  Whether it's having an affair with someone, having a candy bar, ignore the family budget and spend earmarked money on something else, having one drink too many, etc...  Can be a big thing or a small thing.  Temptation exists.  It is going to be a hard long journey for both of them.  I am glad Edward's therapist told him Bella's insecurities are hers, Edward isn't the cause for them.  Hopefully he'll listen and the words will absorb into his mind.  Looking forward to Bella's response to Edward's most recent email and her first therapy appointment.

Now on a more practical note, I am of the camp that understands Edward's need to unload his guilt via email. What other choice does he have? She won't talk to him. I support him in his confession, although I am certain it will devastate Bella all the same. I pray a phone conversation arises from this exchange. Something, please.

But I must say that I really hope it doesn't take months or, God forbid, years, as one reviewer put it, for E&B to get better and reunite. That would be just pure torture for all parties involved, ourselves included.

Btw, thank you for making my heart stop with the opening scene of Edward naked in bed while someone not-Bella was brewing coffee in the kitchen....my heart broke, but then went wild with joy when Alice came through the door. SWEET RELIEF!

Godspeed, Darlin'.

The doubt was enough.

It was enough, Edward. Enough to threaten your sanity, enough to risk your happiness, enough to jeopardize her heart. But you rebelled against it, and in doing so, you have achieved salvation.

Yes, you should've first worried about her. No, you should not have doubted her love and devotion...ONCE AGAIN. But you did. And while that will and should make you feel guilty and ashamed, you should instead revel in the fact that you fought temptation...and WON.

Your instincts no longer pushed you to weakness and abandonment, but rather guided you to redemption and introspection.

You won, Edward. Your soul won.

She is not lost.

She is still yours, as you are hers.

Victory.

Oh Eddie. That was so not something to confess via email. If I were writing her, the response wouldn't be pretty. Ugh.

Reviewer: Tyranelson (Signed) · Date: April 30, 2010 06:30 PM · On: Far Away

Great chapter.

Edward hid behind his low self esteem for so long and it's all catching up with him now. I'm so glad he's getting help.

I hope Bella isn't too hard on him for the whole Tanya thing. I'm glad he told her. I don't like that he did it via email but what choice did he have really? They haven't been able to talk.

They both seem to be making progress, I love it!

Reviewer: Phae (Signed) · Date: April 30, 2010 06:04 PM · On: Far Away

I don't know how Bella will react.  I'll say this: it would be difficult for someone who is mentally healthy and in a relationship to hear that the other party thought about being unfaithful.  Bella is not mentally healthy, so I don't think she will react well.  I don't know that she'll scream and get mad, though.  I could easily see her turning this around and thinking she's the one at fault.

Oh, as to your author's note: I'm afraid I'm in the opposite camp.  I realize that it hasn't been that long since Bella left Forks.  Frankly, my main concern is having either Bella or Edward get better too soon.  Their problems took years to build, and it should take months if not years for them to get healthy.

Oh, Brokeward-  he is hurting more than I thought.  It is going to kill me waiting for her email back....  Can you quit your day jobs and write full time?  Waiting is killing me.  No pressure though of course...

amazing chapter!

I knew he wouldn't do it......but I was really worried at the beginning of this chapter!!!  I really hope by seeing him being so honest with her Bella will see that he is really working on him and will give her courage to work on her.  Great chapter!!

Oh I just want to give Edward a really big hug! And I wish someone had camcorded Emmett & Rosalie's argument - that was hilarious!

BELLA NEEDS TO GET OVER IT!  lol

Reviewer: Katrela (Signed) · Date: April 30, 2010 01:29 PM · On: Far Away

I'm proud of him for doing the right thing with tanya and for having the courage ro seek help for it right away instead of trying to deal with it himself.  He's growing up so fast!  I can't wait for Bella's reaction.  Being Bella I'm sure she'll blame herself.  I hope it doesn't set her back!  These two kids need to get back in the same timezone and fast!!

Awww, how could anyone hate him? I just love him even more. He's such a poor mixed up messed up wee soul.

I hope Bella doesn't freak out over the incident with Tanya at the bar.

Ok I literally cracked up with the Emmett and Rose part. But I feel so bad for Edward here, and of course Bella too! Someone needs to help this guy out!

Reviewer: RiaMaria (Signed) · Date: April 30, 2010 11:36 AM · On: Far Away

To be honest, I don't hate him any more, but I still want to slap the shit out of him; it's only been a week, and he knows Bella's loopy lou at the moment, so the flip out seems a bit unecessary.

I hope she doesn't blow up over it. I think she needs to come back, and them both have therapy, while living in the same state at least.

Being so far apart is causing communication issues, if they're like this after a week, they won't last a month like it. One of them will end up taking a long walk off a short pier.

The bazookah is at my feet now, but still loaded and ready to go if I feel necessary ;).

Hmmm...wonder what's going on with Bella...And poor chubward is too hard on himself.

Loved the chapter and can't wait for the next update.

Reviewer: chtx (Signed) · Date: April 30, 2010 10:33 AM · On: Far Away

I am glad that Edward didn't actually do anything with Tanya.  However, I can't help but feel glad that he is finally getting help for himself because he definitely needs it.  He is so emotionally stunted.  I am sure this has a lot to do with his losing his parents but he needs the therapy as much as Bella.

I expect that Bella will probably feel even worse after reading his email because she will feel that she is once again bringing Edward down and making him feel worse about himself.  I do hope that she has a little anger at him for immediately losing faith in her.  Like you said, it has only been a week!

I can't wait to see what happens next with Bella.  I hope she finally has found someone that she can talk to about the things she experienced with her mother and find a way to deal with her depression.  I was mad at first that Esme even mentioned her conversations with Bella with Jasper and Alice because I felt that was a violation of Bella's trust.  Then Jasper goes and mentions it to Edward and it spiraled downward from there.  I am sure it is just me but I feel that the Cullens all think that they have handled everything perfectly but have never really seen things clearly.  Bella isn't the only one with issues and in need of help and the sooner they realize that, then everyone will be better.

Reviewer: mycrookedsmile (Signed) · Date: April 30, 2010 10:21 AM · On: Far Away

whew. I really didn't think he was going to go with Tanya.

I had to look back at 31 to see Bella's emails and I was also reminded of what Jasper's 'work conference' was- hahaha. Oh Alice. You schemer.

Rose/Em interlude- very funny and some laughing was necessary as hell.

Reviewer: AJ04 (Signed) · Date: April 30, 2010 10:12 AM · On: Far Away

Ok now I can' calm down a bit. While I applaud Edward for walking away, I'm still a bit upset with him still. i am thrilled he went to the therapist early and is making strides to get help.

LOL...Emmett is just to much and him finding out he's gonna be a daddy is just to funny...LMAO! That was brilliant!

Hmmm I respect Edward for telling Bella the truth and hope to god Bella dosn't totally lose her shit when she reads that. I will anxiously await the next update...

Great chapter. Loved the incident at Em & Rose's. I love  how the dr told Edward to think of how he would give advice to someone in the same predicament, very good. He has guts telling Bella what he did but i am glad he did. Of course I never hated him :)
