OMG it is so hard to read about sweet chubward become a MASSIVE manwhore! I cannot even imagine how difficult that must have been to write. I think I threw up a little in my mouth reading the scene between Edward and Lauren. He is teetering on the edge of unredeemable for me. I hope he gets his shit together.
Author's Response: It was difficult to write him in this light and especially that scene, but very necessary. He will redeem himself.....I promise. He wants to be a better man...he realy does. he just feels so unworthy of meaningful contact that this is the result. Maybe Bella can help him find himself againH

Well that was one serious 360 that Edward made to turn from being all about Bella to go to the extreme the other way and become the man whore. I am glad though that he is ready to change his ways and become a better man. I am sure that when Bella and Edward meet again that there will be lots of fireworks. I hope they actually get the chance to at least start to work through everything that has happened between them. I also cannot wait to see what Bella has been up to all these years and where here life has taken her.

I feel sad for him. He had it hard also, those women meant nothing to him.

I can't stop crying. What are you trying to do to me. I can't even see the keyboard to type. My poor puppy keeps trying to nudge my chin cause I'm crying like a little baby. Wow, what an emotional chapter. I'm a littl e upset that Bella wouldn't even accept anything from Edward. That had to be a very long eight years for both of them. Great chap. It was nice that Bella sent him the card but she should have spoken with him, I mean gosh, it totally makes me feel for Edward since he tried so hard to apologize and make amends and he waited for her a long time. He didn't need to become a man ho but I understand him moving on with his life. I'm glad he didn't jump in bed with the first person he saw freshman year.

Poor, poor Edward. I know that we're supposed to hate him for the douchenozzle he has become, but I can't. He's in so much pain too and trying to cope, even if he is going about it in a very destructive way.

OK, that was hard too. The idea of our little Chubward with countless women makes me nauseous. So sad. Well done in capturing his anguish.
But I am livid at Bella. I'm sorry. Even after what Edward did, he tried to make it right and she turned her cold heart away. At this point in the story, I really don't care about Bella. She doesn't deserve anything. She needs to be begging for forgiveness and let Edward tell her to go to hell.
Guess I'm in a bitchy mood today. I shouldn't review after a long work meeting.

I'm not hating on Edward but he's the perfect example of "You reap what you sow." I know it's been hard for Edward because he hasn't been allowed to apologize to Bella. Obviously, Bella hasn't been able to move on either (at least no evidence has been revealed to show she has moved on). In her own way, she's kept that yearly communication open and revealed that she has a little bit of caring for Edward by sending those Thinking of You condolence notes.

Ok, so I didn't punch my computer, but can I throw something at Edward instead?! How could he STILL become a manwhore after he realized his mistake at prom? And I still don't see why he didn't go to Bella in Florida!
(BTW, I'm not criticizing your lovely writing--just your character who I'm very mad at right now! A tribute to how good the writing is that he's pissing me off....)

Author's Response: We are mad at him too. Granted Alice put her foot down about him going to Florida, and while he realized his mistakes, he found that sex filled the void and that he didn't have to make emotional ties with it.
He has lost so much at this point he is not willing to invest any more of himself in any woman, thus his promiscious behaviour.
