Talk about paying the consequences for your actions. Ouch! Chubward is now a man Ho. A very miserable, miserable man Ho.

I work in psych and people really should learn to think before they speak. It often saves so much time and heartache.

So I'm guessing Jasper is now a psychiatrist, Psychologist or some type of therapist ? So how many hours on the proverbial couch is it going to take for Jasper to reveal to Edward that he was just an insecure chubfuck who should have listened to the facts and now just needs to forgive himself so he can move on? And that all the random women he's fucking is just transferent anger and degradation he's turning outward b/c its just too painful to direct it all at himself. Even his weight loss was probably and attempt to get away from who he felt was his true self. When he looks in the mirror now he doesn't have to see the person he used to be that broke Bella's heart.

These two have a huge road ahead to travel to get to a place of trust and togetherness. You truly have your work cut out for you. I admire the writer that takes on the psyche and is willing to delve into the deep emotional abyss that is the baggage laden mind!! Good luck with that. Truly!!

Yes Jasper is a psychiatrist now and Edward calls him for help.  You are totally right.  Edward hates himself and uses random sex to fill the void and so that he doesn't have to make an emotional investment in anyone.  He does not feel worthy of affection.  He has a deep seated fear of rejection and abandonment issues.  Good luck to Jasper.

Okay, so I'm glad to see Edward is ready to make some changes to his life and is going to try to be ready to face Bella in two months. I'm so glad you didnt linger on Whorward. I dont think i could have read through his decline into being a total douch and gone through all the girls he screwed. This way we know that he has sunk low... he boned Lauren for crying out loud, but we get to the part where he is going to change so we know there is hope. Thanks for not dragging us down the slippery sloap through all the muck and grime to get to the bottom. I like where we start from here. And it broke my heart when he was saying how hard he tried to win her back. I know she is broken by him but some part of me just wishes she would have given him a second chance. But then again that would not have lead us to this part of the story would it.

He should have gone to Florida but was trying to trust Alice and let her smooth things over.  He felt she needed more space and didn't want to force himself on her (even though he should have).

Loved the chapter... it's incredible how few seconds really can change our life completely, how few (wrong) chosen words can mark your life forever. I guess Edward is still paying for all that.
