Glad to see Edward's gonna get his shit together! Did feel really bad for him when he went to the hotel and saw what Bella had set up for them. Obviously the guilt from what he said has been ruling his life for the past 8 years. Hopefully he can get some help and start fixing his life so he can try to reconcile with Bella.
Oh, I have "Goodbye to You" on my Zune, and I knew it was a good song for the last chapter. I was cleaning & that song came on. Well, usually, I associate that song w/ Buffy b/c that's where I know it from. I stopped & listened to it again & realized just how perfect that song is for the last chapter. It made me so sad for Bella and what she had to completely give up to just be able to function after Edward. Like I said, I usually think of Buffy when I hear that song, but I know that I will now think of this as well! :)

I do feel for Edward, Bella is on the harsh side after 8 years. Never reading any text, email, letters, or answering calls. She kinda let down on the friend side a lot herself. Everyone can make a mistake, get angry, and say things they don't mean. But she was so humiliated in a small town, just wanted to leave and never return. I feel for them both. At least she was able to bring Alice back into her life. The first four years Edward was totally into him sorrow. Bella never communicated with hardly anyone for years. Then the second four years in medical school, he goes crazy. Turns into a manwhore, doesn't respect women or himself. Now he has two months to get his head together. Is Bella even considering seeing Edward? With her actions, she doesn't want anything do with him. So even though love is great, forgiveness is something that has to happen also. so far doesn't seem like that is on Bella's agenda. At least the last 8 years it hasn't been that way for Bella. Looking forward to Bella's return to Forks and the angst between them both until they get back together. Bring on more pain we can take it as long as there's a happy ever after.

Wow... what a great story! I can't wait for the next chapter.
Chubward was cute. It's too bad that Bella wouldn't listen to him, but some words can't be taken back. Will Jake be in the story any further? I hope therapy will help Edward's feelings of inadaquecy. And how to deal with his pain better than with sex and alcohol.
Author's Response: You won't see too much of Jake in this story, we mainly concentrate on our two crazy kids. The story is about their love, their betrayal, and finding their way back to each other. The next chapter is amazing....BPOV!

Painful chapter to read. I'm glad he did try to apologise straight after graduation & persisted for so long too. Not pleasant reading about his "manwhore" years but I'm glad it's over in just the one chapter. Keep up the good work ladies, & please send us some Bella!

Ok, the beginning of the chapter...Edward....trying to get Bella to talk to him....finding out what she had planned that night in the hotel room...Bella sending him the card every year on the anniversary of his parents death...you two should see the amount of kleenex I go through reading this story!!! :( Reading about his college years and all that....my, my....Chubward turned into wild party animal manwhore didn't he??? And yet I find myself still loving on him...lol! I'm so happy that he is going to clean his act up....can't wait to see how it plays out....

Okay, so does shameless flattery work? This may be the best chapter ever written on Twilighted. The skill and imagination it took to create this literary masterpiece is, I daresay, unparalleled in the 21st century. Threats? I have a certain tracker and his mate on my Rolodex and those that do not comply with my wishes are veeeeerrrrry sorry! Wheedling, begging and groveling? I'm certainly not to proud to say please, please, please with a cherry on top of Edward, please post early and send me a sneak peek! Sincere honesty? I LOVE your story. I find it so very sweet that Bella fell in love with gawky, chubby Edward instead of a male model and that Edward learned to accept himself because of her friendship and support. I love that they could both be so monumentally stupid because they were teenagers, not mature adults. I love the suspense you've built in having them come face to face after so many years. I would really appreciate a sneak peek of a nekked, toned Edward. So did any of this work?

I can't wait to see what Bella has been doing for the last eight yrs. I can't believe she didn't read any of the letters. I thought I could hold a grudge but man she has me beat by a long shot. I'm really feeling bad for Edward and I'm glad he is ready to change.

wow poor edward. You know he really screwed up and Bella felt like she HAD to shut him out of her life, her heart and soul for her own betterment but how sad. Eight years wasted on a misunderstanding and poor communication!
