yay! i've been waiting to hear those words from you guys - i've been trying to be patient but this story has grabbed me tight and just won't let go.  cannot wait for this thing to progress!

Author's Response:

It's moving now.  We're back to the beginning and there's no where else to go!

Thanks so much for reviewing!

Oh man...Bella just depresses me with her thought process.  She needs to schedule some time with Dr. Whitlock (or someone) to work out her issues of self-esteem.  There is no way that Edward alone can put that girl back together with the way she has felt about herself for 8. LONG. YEARS.  She is wayyyyy damaged. And it is sad and heartbreaking and pitiful.

Her realization of what he looks like now and how attracted to him she feels  makes her feel even less worthy and that is awful.  Sad, sad, sad.  Big girl panties indeed!!

I'm anxious now just to see what Edward will do to try and win her love/forgiveness.  He clearly has no idea what is going on in her head...and I think when (if) she ever admits it, it is going to FREAK him out!!

Excellent chapter as always!  So will you start updating every day until the story is done? LOL....that'd be nice, you know.  Just sayin.  :o)

Author's Response:

LOL!  Daily updates aren't going to happen,  but we'll keep 'em coming.  Yes, Edward is going to fall apart when he finds out how broken Bella really is....

Thank you so much for reviewing!

Poor, poor baby! She is such a fucked up mess. :(

Author's Response:

She truly has been broken...

I just wanted to say again that I love this story. Of all the stories I've read, this Edward and Bella just might need each other the most.  They are both so broken without the other.

Author's Response:

WOW.  Thank you so much for the amazing compliment.  Yeah, these two are truly broken.

Thank you so much for reviewing!

Definitely on the right track, and I'm glad to hear the story is going to pick up. I really want to see some Edward/Bella interaction, but it was nice to get a glimpse of how others, like Esme, have been affected by Bella's absence. Great story, I always get a happy feeling when  I see this has been updated:)

Author's Response:

And E/B interaction is coming in a big, big way...

Thanks so much for reviewing!

Wow, he got some serious issues to attend to!  Update soon, please.

Author's Response:

They both have a ton of things to work through.

Wow, you guys are definitely on the right track. This is so fantastic. I can't wait to see what you have in store.

And thanks for reminding me why I usually wait to read stories until they are finished. I can't stand the suspense! :)

Author's Response:

LOL!  At least we keep it moving!

Thanks so much for reviewing!

Tammy & Ellie...once again...ugh...omg....and :(!!!!  Poor Bella...those words really did a number on her poor soul. I can't wait to see how it progresses from here....I have a feeling some intentional and unintentional pushing them together or moments where they find themselves alone are in store...sigh...these two have such a long road ahead of them....

LOVED IT! :)

Author's Response:

Bella is really really broken.  Then again, so is our boy...

Thank you for all of your support!

Man, Edward has no idea what he has done to her.  I can imagine a future scene of him sobbing his heart out to her, apologizing for everything and anything, all at once, spilling all the details about his life and begging her forgiveness.

Honestly, I must be a vindictive bitch, because I cannot say that I would have agreed so easily to help him.

Author's Response:

Bella is not vindictive - in fact, she's more feeling that she's not worth his attention.  That was what caused her shut down.  But no, Edward has no idea how damaged she is.  Wait until he finds out.

Thanks so much for reviewing!

I know I didn't review every chapter, but I had PDFed the story to my desktop, so it wasn't easy for me to just comment at the end...anyhoo...I am heartbroken, right along with Bella.  I nearly cried, several times, between both Edward and Bella's POVs.  How incredibly heartbreaking.  Bella has been shaped by a 2 minute confrontation, 8 years prior, because of her former best friend.  And he too has been shaped, though quite drastically opposite, because of what he did. Neither feels good enough, but they compensate in completely polar ways. Damn.

Author's Response:

They are both are seriously broken.  What happened at the prom was just the event that uncloaked and exploited their insecurities.  They've both got so very far to go.

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

Author's Response:

They both have some serious healing to do...

Aaaaaaaa, I just love it when Edward is so heart broken and hasn't got a clue as to how make things right. Am I mean? :P

Author's Response:

No - it is kinda adorable, especially when you know he will do whatever it takes...

Love it!  Wish you guys could write faster!  I cry with just about every chapter I read.    Can't wait for the next installment.

LOL!  Our typing fingers will be nubs!

Yay!  Now they can work on rebuilding their firendship--that probably needs to happen first.

Author's Response:

They need to rebuild everything, starting with just being able to be in the same room!  But you're right.  They need to learn to trust again.

Just wanted to leave a note...as a psychologist, I can tell you it would be highly unethical to have someone you know as a friend or relative also be a client. Dual relationships are a big no-no. Just so if you ever get to revisin this stuff, you may have Jasper refer Eddie to someone else, and not see him himself...But your story ROCKS my SOCKS!

Author's Response:

We absolutely appreciate your note.  Thanks for pointing that out!  I think we both kinda thought that to be the case, but we bent reality for the sake of this story alone.  However, if we ever do revise it, we'll definitely take that under advisement!

Again, so many thanks!

Awww, I just read this story right the way through. I LOVE Chubward!!!! Fantastic! Can't wait for the next installment!

Author's Response:

Chubward is wonderful! We love him endlessly.

Ohh, I miss sweet Chubward. This Doucheward (Oh Jasper how I love you...lol) is too entraced in himself, I´m even surprised he didn´t blew himself a kiss while walking thru a mirror. I hope Bella grows a pair and gives him shit for what he did to her. Then we can some HEA.   ;)

Author's Response:

Sweet Chubward is still in there.  Give him (and her) time.  Jasper is the best!

Thanks for reviewing!

Gah this story is breaking my heart. Bella's pain kills me and i know Edward has no freakin clue just how much he hurt her and destroyed her self confidence. I am looking forward to reading this from Bella's pov to see what was going through her mind during the reunion. Tho all i want to do is wrap her up and tell her how special she is and to not feel so scared. I think what Bella needs is to get angry, and i would love to see her just tear strips out of Edward for what he did... and then maybe followed up by some angry sexin hehehe :)

Keep um rollin ladies, I wait with baited breath for the next installment.

Author's Response:

LOL!  Alas, Bella is not in an angry place.  More terrified...  Not to say there is no sexin' to come ;)

Thanks for reviewing!

I love this story so much.  I am anxious for how you plan to work thru this.  I am anxious for the journey you are leading us on.  Onward...March.

We're trying to keep 'em coming fast!

He isn't Chubward anymore ;)

Aww my poor Boy he didn't expect Bella's reaction to his touch at first, if only he knew what was going on in her mind.
*sigh* You gotta love Jaz and his straight talk :)

And WOW! :O
Bella actually placed her hand in his and spoke to him!
That was a serious step for her, i just know it.

Fantastic chap!

Author's Response:

Our boy has no idea how screwed up she really is...

Thanks so much for reviewing!

Really good, can't wait for Bella's POV!  Love Jasper, he really told Edward what he needs to do and gave him alot to think about! Love this story so much!

Author's Response:

Go Team Jasper!

Reviewer: crystaldreams (Signed) · Date: October 16, 2009 08:26 PM · On: Stolen Away

Leave it to Jasper to put him in his place! Thank goodness someone did. I hope that Edward does take it slow and doesn't mess up again with Bella. I think they both deserve a second chance at happiness, and hopefully they can work past things together. She let him take her hand & help her up, that's a good start! Hope it continues!

Author's Response:

Edward knows now that he is going to have to take it slow woth Bella if he wants to reconnect with her.  Thank God for Jasper's sage advice.

Reviewer: Burntcore (Signed) · Date: October 16, 2009 06:03 PM · On: Stolen Away

Woohoo!  Bella is trying to be nice.  Can't wait for the next chapter.  I hope Edward really takes Jasper's words at face value and that he cannot rush Bella.... that if he wants any chance of fixing and rekindling anything with her.

Author's Response:

BPOV is amazing!  Just you wait to see what happens next.
