Bella needs to send her inner voice packing. She is her own worst enemy. I can't wait to see how you girls play this all out. Keep up the good work.
Author's Response: She is definitely her own worst enemy. Then again, she's the only person she's been around in 8 years ;)

Awww Edward is goin to have so many words to atone for. There is so much that Bella feels and yet she doesn't even know the half of all the pain Edward has been thru as well. *sigh* It will be great when they both can really talk and begin to heal.
Author's Response: Neither of them fully appreciate the depths of the other's devastation...
Thanks for reviewing!

Ugh, you make me feel like crying. That is a good thing, as it means I am thoroughly relating to the charactes. Just...ugh. I can't even imagine. she is sooooo broken. I hate to say this, but poor Edward when he finds out how badly he scarred and broke her all those years ago.
Author's Response: They are both going to be devastated when they realize what the other has become...
Thanks so much for all of your support!

"Treating me like a scared animal...That’s essentially what you’ve become…" so sad, but so true.
"He took a step toward me and god, as much as my body wanted to run to "him, how my soul wanted to go back home to him, I knew there wasn’t a home to go to anymore."... Could it be any more heartwrenching?
"Please, Edward, why? Why are you doing this? I know what you think. I know what you feel. God, you probably have a girlfriend or a wife at home, and you’re just waiting to break me all over again when you introduce me as your whore of a friend from high school"..He still has absolutely no idea how badly he broke her heart...
"His eyes. So full of love. Of regret. Of want...I had to blink at the force of it."...If she can see this, maybe there is hope?
Author's Response: There is *always* hope, even in despair this dark...

The story is great but I can't help but thinking that it may be overkill to do each scene from both points of view. It feels slightly repetative. I think it is good to see both sides of it, but I think it can condensed instead of having the entire scene word for word again.
Author's Response: We are definitely not doing each scene from both points of view, only the pivotal ones to their relationship. They day they met, the prom, the day they came back together... the rest is different events from just one POV. We hope you'll understand why we are doing these particular events from both POV's as we go.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Does Esme not know anything about what happened?
Author's Response: She is aware, but she just desperate to get Bella back. I don't think she knows the depth of the damage to Bella, however...
Thank you so much for reviewing.

This is so heartbreaking....she truly believes that hes thinks those things of her...so much that she thinks that the dress is to reveailing??? That's so sad...i feel so bad for her....can they see just how bad he hurt her???? Can he see it??? You guys do a great job of conveying just how broken she really is. I can feel in in my chest as i'm reading it. I hurt and ache with her. This is so well written, i can't tell you how i've enjoyed this! (even though i feel like my heart has been ripped out!!)LOL! I can't wait to see the process of putting her back together again. I must ask was Esme about to suggest that Bella stay with Edward during all this??? How could she even think that that would even be a possibility??....but i must ask will that eventually happen before the wedding as things get more crowded??? that would be great!!! update soon!!! Love ya bb's!!
Author's Response: They are both really broken, but I don't think anyone understands the depth of it yet. We shall see...

This is simply wonderful. So beautifully written. It captures the intensity of Bella's rollercoaster of emotions. Her inner debate, chastisement, longing, lust are all incredibly heartbreaking and yet lovely to get a glimpse of.
I love how her insecurities eek out without anyone truly grasping the gravity of how scarred she is. Not even Alice seems to understand the depth of damage. My heart sunk when Bella commented on her dress perhaps being too revealing and Rose/Alice finding the notion ridiculous. It was such a telling statement and yet it was dismissed. LOL - It was wonderfully written.
I'm fascinated by the complexity of Bella and Edward and the hurdles they must overcome. The concept of them having switched roles over the years, Edward the extrovert and Bella the introvert, as a coping mechanism is intriguing. My mind reels with the possibilites ahead for both separately and together.
This is truly such a fun and captivating story. Thanks for writing it. I can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Such an amazing review! Thank you! Yes, they have so far to go. I think Alice has a pretty good idea of how broken Bella is, as she did warn Rose off a bit but I don't think anyone understands the true depth and breadth. Again, many thanks for reviewing!

Edward really knocked her down to nothing. She believed him when he called her a whore. When all he had ever called her was "My entire heart." Now she won't believe that the name calling was only peer embarrassing anger. Edward never meant those words. But he devastated Bella into believing she wasn't good enough for him or anybody ever again. Edward has a lot of baby steps to bring Bella out of her self imposed shell to start engaging in the real world. She needs to crack that shell and return to the Bella they all knew and loved. She'll be there for 3 weeks more. Good thing Alice stopped Esme from saying she could stay at Edward's house. That would have sent her running and flying back to Florida. Still little steps for Alice and if Edward takes it really slow then maybe he can convince her that he has always loved her and still does today and forever. Looking forward to Bella becoming a rose bud and gradually blossoming into the beautiful woman they all know she is and we the authors and readers also know. Love this story. Doesn't matter what you look like, it's what you are on the inside that matters. The part that others can fall in love which is inside the person, their inner spirit, soul, core of their mental entity.
Author's Response: Bella does have so far to go and we can only hope Edward can help her get there. He's the only one that can fix that one moment in time...
Thank you for reviewing!

Oh my heart aches for Bella...no one needs to live alone without interaction of friends and family. She will never be able to get through this if she doesn't open up to someone. I hope that she will try to stay with Charlie, she is going to need a break from the emotional side of things, especially since she is not use to interacting with anyone. This is going to be a very hard month for her. Loved the interaction with Esme and Bella...she needs more time with her...it could be a really good thing.
Can't wait to see what happens next!
Author's Response: Bella is in such a bad place, but she's going to have to take the first step to heal. She'll have to be open, at least a little bit.
Thanks so much for reviewing!

Dude srsly? I swear it's gotten so bad my heart clenches in my chest when I see the update notification in my inbox! And you didn't disappoint again. I have to remember to remove all my eye makeup before reading any of your subsequent updates.
I feel B's pain so intensely. It's like I'm experiencing it myself....shit! I think I am...! ....except without Chubward/Svelteward or Confidentella/Timidella or the gang...or the love... JMJ dude the stomach clenching, chest squeezing, eye burning...it's all there and more. And the fact that they have gone in such different directions in their 8yr separation, and yet nothing about their feelings for each other have changed. In fact, it seems even more intense.
And dude, I can't wait to hear what ever became of the King of Douchebagdome Jacob. Fucking bastard. I hope he got parvo and died, that slimy fucking bastard.
I'm simultaneously dreading and anxiously awaiting the next chapter!
Thanks for sharing your fic and thanks for the update!
Author's Response: They are really in bad places on totally different ways, aren't they?
