"I can't live without you"  So sweet!  I know why this story has so many reviews--it's beautiful.

Author's Response:

Aw, thank you!

We really do love working on it together.

More progress.  They're getting there.  But man, Bella has just crumbled into a shell of her former self.  That is so sad.  I hope that he can bring her out soon!  Loved the update.  Thanks for posting.

Author's Response:

She's definitely broken.  Edward is going to need a lot of patience and faith.

Thanks so much for reviewing!

What a lovely way to wake up.  Having your hands in Edward's hair and his face so close to you.  Yeah!!!  wish we all had one.  Still awkward but before Alice's call, Bella and Edward seemed to be slightly comfortable with each other.  Then having Amber talk about marriage between the two of them freaked Bella completely.  Alice double booked herself on purpose to throw Edward and Bella together on the errand to the florist shop.  Then Edward with his primrose placing it in her hair.  The floral meaning "I can't live without you".  Then let's go home.  These words should start to soothe Bella's heartache.  Amber said he looked at and left it blank, she wanted to say he looked at Bella like a man in love.  So hopefully Bella will realize that Edward feels the same for her that she feels for him now and before.  Looking forward to future chapters for more wedding plans, see Aunt Betsy get hers, and Bella and Edward to get together.

Author's Response:

You know, I don't know that Bella understanding that Edward does love her is the only thing that needs to happen.  Of course, I think if he can convince her, it will help endlessly, but she is so broken right now, as is he, that there is some trust that needs to be rebuilt as well.

i found this chapter kind of sad.. because its so obvious that edward loves bella... but he jsut hurt her so much that she can't see it.. or just doesn'at want to see it...

Author's Response:

It's not just what happened at prom that broke her, and I don't know that he's put it all together yet.  But he will...

shes so broken it hurts to read almost. excellent chapter

Author's Response:

She is most definitely a broken girl.  Edward will need much strength and patience to get through this.

I love Bella's voice in this chapter. Please, please, please don't make the next chapter a rehash of this one from Edward's pov. Not that I'm anxious to see the story end, but the whole thing needs to move a bit faster.

My heart hurts for Bella.

Author's Response:

We are only going to do a scene from both POV's if it is pivotal and if their POV's of the incident truly gives you insight into the characters.  This scene is not one of those.  Not to say it's not important, but I think his mindset is clear in the chapter.

Wow...it's so interesting to see Bella in this and the last chapter.  So much insight into her world.  I could totally see how she would be reminded of what could have been while they were at the florist.  I was thinking the same thing when Edward was making her breakfast--how if things had been different, they would be living together and he'd be making her breakfast...with the same low slung sweats and no shirt.  Yum!

Is it bad that I like the melancholy in this chapter?

Wonderful job, Ellie!

--Melanie

PS Loved how she referred to the room as "my room" and how he says "let's go home" at the end.  If there's no HEA eventually, I think you ladies may have a riot on your hands!  =)

Author's Response:

This would be a completely different scene had prom gone different - one of domestic bliss.  Alas, things did not quite go that way for our two kids.  But maybe they can get it back.

And you know we're both HEA girls.  We just like to make it hurt a bit getting there.

Bella really is broken!  I hope that Edward is man enough to fix her.  I believe he is and look forward to watching Edward try to fix her.

Author's Response:

He's going to need a lot of patience.  Not to mention, he has a lot of fixing that needs to be done himself.

Thanks so much for reviewing!

*Sigh*, another great chapter. Thanks for updating. Looks like they are making a tiny bit of progress. Must be marvelous to have Cutward a.k.a. Chubward a.k.a. Skankward a.k.a. Skunkweed cook cinnamon French toast half naked. We could only be so lucky.  :)

Author's Response:

Now if only the could do this under better circumstances!  But we'd be happy to wake up to that!

Thanks for reviewing!

Uuuugh! So sweet!! So sad!!

I really don't like broken Bella. I just can't relate to her. Maybe partly I envy her, as weird as it sounds. But your BrokenBella makes my heart hurt. I sympathize with her even if I can't imagine staying so broken for so long and not finding anyone to put your pieces together.

Edward needs to pay his dues and make it up to her. Big order to fill, but I have faith in him.

Good job!

Author's Response:

This is a very traumatized girl and you'll find out more that prom was just the straw that broke her.  But no one is unsalvageable.  Not her.  Not him.

How did I miss this update?  I got the new update and realized I missed this somehow.  It was great though.  Isn't there always one old aunt who pulls crap like that!?!?!?  UGH!!!  But that was really good and now that she's with Edward maybe he can get through to her.  Oh, and that was cute having the doctor say he would call Whitlock in on it and she's in his wedding.  Nice touch!!!  Thanks for sharing.

Author's Response:

Thank you!  A lot happens in this chapter...

your doing a really good job potraying Bella as vulnerable in this story.  love it!

Author's Response:

She's a broken girl.  Alas, she won't be able to work through it until she faces Edward.

Thanks so much for reviewing!

So when are they really going to talk and when is Edward going to get a clue that he created most of this? The pain radiating off Bella after this chapter is killing me! Please, Please fix them!! Her grief just jumps out at you. You have done an excellent job of portraying "totally Broken", but now I'd like some forgiving fixin and then some hot and heavy lovin. Mkay?

So lovin the story. I adore works that keep my emotions fueled. You definately gots the stuff!!!

Author's Response:

Hang in there!  We did the fluff too!  We're just ranging through the emotions before we get to lemony freshness!  LOL!

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

What a sweet chapter.  Bella seriously needs some therapy.  She was horribly hurt but he's trying.  Hopefully its not too little too late.  And... somebody has to tell him how completely he destoryed her!  Alice knows... why didn't she ever tell Edward?

Author's Response:

I hazard to think that Alice felt it was not her story to tell.  You're right, Bella needs help, but she also needs to face Edward and he, her.

Great chapter! Even if it's forced, I'm glad they are having to spend time together. They can't reconnect if they avoid each other. More soon, please.

Author's Response:

And Bella isn't to the point where he'd be able to just get her to meet him places.  Not yet.  Unfortunately, they broke each other, but only they can fix each other.

Thanks so much for reviewing!

What a selfish BITCH Alice is. First she bullies Bella into coming to Forks, knowing it's torture for her, then she lets that bitch aunt treat Bella like trash in public, THEN she demands that she stay around Edward.

Bella needs to run from these assholes before they end up breaking what's left of her.

Author's Response:

Poor Alice!  She asked Bella to be her maid of honour and said she would not take no for answer, not to be a bitch but because she missed her best friend.  Bella still could have said no.

As for Aunt Betsy, Alice has no control over what she says.  Also the commentsw were not made in publice but in Alice's home.  Were they right?  Or course not.  Is Alice happy?  No.  Is it worth starting a family fued right before the wedding?  Probably not, although Alice will get her back in her own way soon enough.

Bella also has the option on going to Charlie's or a hotel, she chooses to stay with Edward.  While Alice wants these two to get their shit together and talk it out, she would never purposely hurt Bella for them to do so.

Keep reading, you may be surprised at where this goes......Thank you for reviewing.

Ah, the ackwadness of an old familiar.  It's so haunting and endearing at the same time.  I hope that Edward breaks through and isn't repelled by what broke her.  I truly hope his words are true and he'll stick by them.

Poor Bella.    I hope she is able to start healing soon.  And I love the meaning of the flower.  Aw!
