"Grandma in a bikini, dead kittens, vomit, Mike Newton naked…..okay, that worked.  Down boy."

Hilarity! Loving this story!

Hmm I just love how Edward is taking care of Bella...poor girl is so broken and really needs a hand putting herself back together. To bad the one that broke her so badly is the one who will put her back together. Aunt Betsy needs to have her lips sewed shut...grrrr. I am in utter awe of this magnificant story and have been pimping it out to all my friends...

Author's Response:

Aw, thanks for the pimpage, sweet!  They both need some fixing and it is ironic that the only people who can heal them is them.

Thanks so much for reviewing!

Another great chapter!  Shirtless Edward will be cooking all of my meals this week ... in my mind.  I'm sure my boyfriend won't care.

So good!

Author's Response:

LOL!  Ah, Breakfastward is a popular guy!

Thank you for reviewing!

Poor Bella, she's just so broken.  How will Edward ever fix her?

Author's Response:

Well, she has to be willing to fix herself.  Not to mention, Edward needs some fixing up as well.

Thanks so much for reviewing!

Awe! the ever patient Edward, I think he is going to have to be extra patient. There seems to be alot to work through. Can't wait for the next update.

Author's Response:

Oh, he is going to have to be all kinds of patient!

Thank you so much for reviewing!

Another lovely chapter.  My heart breaks for Bella & Edward.  I have a feeling Edward will be home a little more now that Bella is there.  Keep up the good work girls.

Author's Response:

Other than his work schedule, we're betting he will be home all the time, whether or not Bella is ready to spend time with him!

Thanks so much for reviewing!

Awwww - poor Bella.  She HAS to know the truth soon, she is utterly broken.  I am glad that she is staying at Edwards house and that he is slowly starting to mend her broken heart.

I love primroses - if Edward put one of those in my hair I would utterly melt!

xxx

Author's Response:

We did a lot of research to find the right flower.  All of us, we'd wager, would melt if that happened!

Thanks for reviewing!

this is great...but i am sure you know this. you have an incredibly light touch with your plotline- it could be veering into the melodramatic (where one could wish to slap bella for her obstinate blindness and edward for saying nothing) but you have sure control of it, and these characters. your tone for this last scen is spot on!

Author's Response:

It can be a fine line not to take it too far.  We're hoping we are riding the correct side of that line.

Thanks so much for reviewing!

Somebody call 911, I'm dying here!  So heartwrenching... You guys are awesome writers.  Please update soon!

We're awesome for almost killing you?  We feel bad!

Seriously, thanks so much for the compliments and the review.

Alice is such a little devil!

Edward certainly has his work cut out for him!

Author's Response:

Edward is going to need lots of patience, something he's not very good with!

Thanks for reviewing!

My stomach and chest were in a constant state of "clenchie" throughout this chapter.  Along with the prick in my eyes from the tears that were on the verge of threatening to fall...yeah Chubward has a lot of work to do to help B out from under the self-esteem/self-worth basement.

Thanks for sharing your fic and thanks for this update!

Author's Response:

They both feel pretty worthless, but Bella is definitely more demonstrably broken.  E will need lots of patience.

Thanks so much for reviewing!

I can't wait until Bella and Edward talk about prom night, Bella needs to know that Edward fucked up and still loves her. Great chapter can't wait for more.

Author's Response:

Oh don't worry.  There will be all sorts of talking, amoung other things...

Thanks so much for reviewing!

OK  "Completely, utterly, shirtless" ??!!!... what is Jakes line ... "Does me being half naked bother you?" gulp, ahhh yep bother away....please..

She is so emotionally broken, barely wanting to wear something as feminine as a modest bridesmaid's dress - it's so sad it's awful, Edward doesn't seem to have any idea he's the cause or else ow could he have questioned her about her anxiety and depression? that must have been surreal to Bella!

Oh for plenty more shirtless encounters over French toast - we have month for you two to heal each other ... sigh..get to it.

Author's Response:

Edward was just the straw that broke her, not the full cause.  Remember that.  I don't think that he understands how deeply it affected her - but he will.

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

I feel everything Edward does is so unfair to Bella.

He does all these stuffs that are meant to woo her or something, yet he doesn't realize the extent of deep hurt and emotional scarring that she has.

My heart goes to poor Bella. This must not be easy times for her. She feels so out of her element, especially in Edward's company. She feels torn, more so than usual. And she feels even more hopeless.

Can't wait for next chapter :D I'm adoring this fic so so much :D

Thanx for the update :D

Author's Response:

Edward certainly is not intending to be unfair.  He's actually trying quite hard to reign in his enthusiasm!

Awwwww. So sweet and a lil heartbreaking.
Great chapter:)

Author's Response:

There is so much damage to these two...

So sweet and sad.  I teared up with Bella.

Author's Response:

Trust me, I teared up writing it!

wow - this chapter had me internally saying 'awwww' the entire time.  Now I know they HAVE to talk and i'm hoping and praying that it's a REAL honest to god talk...where they both listen and try and take it in....I know this isn't going to be an easy okay we're in love relationship...but i'm hoping this story is more about being in love than falling in love.

Author's Response:

I think you hit the nail on the head.  These two do not need to fall in love, they need to work through what prevented them from enjoying what they already had....

Thanks for reviewing!

Reviewer: amydee (Signed) · Date: November 03, 2009 10:34 PM · On: Drop in the Ocean

oh god, poor Bella.  She is really a mess.  Please fix her soon!

Author's Response:

She's going to need a lot of fixing.  Then again, so is he.

Thank you so much for reviewing!

"That I would always be the whoring, feeble former friend who would never be good enough for the Cullens.....The charity case....The one Edward rejected."....Could this be any more heartbreaking?

"Why the hell are you crying, Swan?....Because of what I lost, my voice answered.  What I’ll never find again"...I wonder if Edward has any clue why Bella is crying..

This story is so incredibly sad. I find myself crying whenever I read it...I certainly hope that you have some happy times ahead...

Author's Response:

There are happy times ahead, but. just like E/B, we're gonna have to work for them.  It is sad, truly.  Bella is broken. Then again, so is Edward.  But no one is a lost cause...
