THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU forthe break through for Edward and Bella. I am really anxious for your next update this time. It was getting a little to sad for me before now. I know they still have some issues to work through but this chapter has so many promises in it. Please don't disappoint this heart of mine. haha!
Author's Response: YOUR WELCOME! So glad you enjoyed their breakthrough!

Wow! That was an emotional rollercoaster! You really hit all cylinders in this chapter. Chubward's graveyard confession was absolutely heartwrenching. Poor, poor little Chubby.
Author's Response: Thank you so much!

Oh, wow. I think so far this is my favorite chapter. And not for the obvious Edward/Bella getting closer. I liked seeing edward vulnerable for once. his breakdown at his parents grave wa heartbreaking and nice. Even though its horrible to say that. I think it was definitely needed because he just needs to get past it, so he can become what he knows he can be as a man. And ohh Bella, just love her. lol
Author's Response: She needed to hear his pain in order for these two to move forward! Thank you for your review!

Yay! An important step towards them being friends, and more!. in the right direction. Of course Bella would be there for him when he needed her! A little fluff next?
Author's Response: Nope sorry....no fluff by some confrontation! It involves alcohol and is going to be epic!

Wow--I was as shocked as Edward at Charlie's reaction, but it makes sense. He knows how close E/B were, and he can see that Edward is trying to change. Love that he knows Edward is the only one who can help Bella and bring her home.
Also loved that Bella said "let's gp home" just as Edward did last chapter.
Hmm...I wonder exactly how much Bella overheard at the cemetery...does she know about the girls? Or just that he loves her?
I swear the more I read this story, the more I love it!

Wow. That was really emotional and loved that they reconnected. So did Bella see our Chubward in all his glory???
Trina (HookaShewz)
Author's Response: She saw the whole package. It was a life altering experience.

0h Tammy, just wait while I wipe the tears out of my eyes.
That was wonderful. They know each other so well, even after all this time apart. They are reconnecting again, that's good. I know you and Ellie won't let them fully reunite until they hash out their past, because that would not be a solid foundation for a relationship. I still think Edward is going to have to be a big emotional breakdown particularly when he finds out how bad things have been for Bella. Bring it on I say, even if I have to buy out the whole tissue aisle at the supermarket.
I loved Edward and Charlie's conversation. Charlie has the knack of saying so much with so few words - I puffy heart him.
Annette
Author's Response: Annette , hope your feeling better. Thank you so much for the review . The big confrontation is up next , be prepared to laugh , be grossed out , cry , and have hope.

Well, I am glad it didn't take him long to figure out what a giant douche he was. He better get his act together quick because he needs to get his head out of his ass and make a lot up to her. I really hope they she can forgive him. He needs to remember that she has trust issues as well due to her mother's issues and the effect they had on her when she was growing up.
Author's Response: It is going to be a long road and will require a lot of patience. There is so much damage to both of them.
Thanks for reviewing!

You guys certainly know how to wield the heartfail. So, so painful. While E's response to the situation was understandable from his perspective. He went way way beyond the pale. Surely, in the clear light of day, he had to realize that much of what he said was totally undeserved even if she had kissed Jake. He knows her better than anyone and certainly should know that she is not a player at all. Poor B. But running never solves anything, it just hides it.
Author's Response: No. They both made mistakes here. Based on their lives today, somewhat understandable ones, but mistakes all the same.
Thanks for reviewing!

I expected this. For a guy like Edward, insecure and lacking a modicum of confidence, it wouldn't take much to push him over the edge. It's much easier to be the injured party and to go on the offensive then to open yourself up deliberately to the risk of being hurt. He made assumptions based on most of his life experiences, but he forgot that Bella was the one person who had totally accepted him from day one. He will be very sorry for this.
Author's Response: Alas, he will. He will feel this for a long time to come.
Thank you for reviewing!

OMG. You're killing me. I'm sitting here with tears rolling down my face and my daughter looking at me like I'm crazy. She's asking me why I like this stuff if it makes me cry. This was beautifully written, but major heartfail. I feel so bad for Edward. For an insecure boy this will be very hard to rise above. He's just lost not only his parents but his main source of security and support.
Author's Response: This was definitely one of the greatest formative moments in his life. The other is yet to come...

Yippee. E made a move thanks to his friends. Maybe this will give him the courage to be honest with Bella about his feelings for her. On another note, I can't imagine Alice on a camping trip. I think her idea of camping would be dragging a very expensive camper with all the mod cons to a camping grounds with full amenities. Might as well go to a motel.
Author's Response: Alice on a camping trip cracks us up too! But she went!

please update soon!! I hope that they talk it through and make it better and he tells her how big of a dork he was for hurting her and how much he loves her. please update soon
Author's Response: Slow and steady wins the race. There's lots of damage to heal here.
Thanks so much for reviewing!

That was just too cute (I am not being sarcastic either). Aside from that, that T shirt was total win. Btw, I used to have one. Why, you ask? I have absolutely no idea. I'm guessing one of these days Bella will figure out what those feelings are. I think Edward already has.

I suspected as much. Alcohol and drug abuse are very destructive diseases and families are often caught in the crossfire. Even though she is suffering, she is lucky that she has a friend that she can confide in. Hopefully, Renee will get the help she needs and Bella will get her mother back.
