That was wonderful.
I got a little lost along the way and am back to get my fix of Chubward and boy did that hit the spot.
His dad giving him condoms, porn mags and lube cracked me up.
The knowing looks around the fire- well played.
The truth-or-dare kiss that got hot and heavy; the admission of an erotic dream by Bella. Loved it.
Looking forward to what comes next.

Wow. Is it only me or are others feeling a sense of healing with this chapter?
The soft kiss in her sleep. The accident. Seeing Charlie. His visit to the flower shop. Her visit to the flower shop. She finds him at the cemetary and takes him home. The chapter as a whole was so powerful.
It is as if we are about to embark upon the road back.
My heart feels lighter already.

I think only a confession like that, where there was nothing to gain for him in the eyes of Bella (he didn't know she was listening), where she was sure there would be no lies, no deceiving, only then... the true healing could begin.
I think they are both hurting tremendously. Edward feels an unparallel guilt. And Bella... well, Bella is lost in herself and those words. She's locked within walls of shame. I think they truly need each other, no only in a romantic way, but also in a forgiving way. Edward needs to forgive himself, let go of the guilt and show Bella how much he loves her. And Bella needs to let go of the shame, the what ifs, grasp some confidence and love herself and him. :D It's gonna be a rocky road, I think. You can't just put aside years of hurting like it's nothing.
I loved Charlie's intervention. I think it was the beginning of hope for Edward. Hope that Bella, somewhere in her forgiving heart, she could give him a second chance.
I don't think there's any doubt she would give him that. Actually, I don't even think the problem is with Edward. I think Bella's problem is with herself. She will certainly give him everything, but I'm not so sure if she would forgive herself. Well, that's what Edward's for, right?? ;)
Awesome chapter as always. Loved it :D Especially now that we had that awesome scene :D

Author's Response: I truly agree. he never meant for her to hear him and was therefore brutally honest. She needed to see his pain in order for them to move forward and in order for her to believe his remorse.
Bella is wracked with self doubt. She will need time and patience before she is able to regain her former confidence.

Amazing chapter, so much has happened in this one! Edward is really getting an eyeopener (loved yhe talk with Charlie) and realizing he needed to seek forgiveness from his parents after the hospital trama was touching! Hopefully now he and Bella will talk and move forward with Charlies blessing! Great story ladies! I have voted for ya'll multiple times!
