I'm speechless yet again. Great update, I'm so happy that they're past the awkward silence and are at least "hanging" out together. I can't wait to see how the movie night unfolds. Also, gotta love Charlie, isn't he the best? I'm glad he doesn't hold any ill-will towards Edward. Even though it might be a little selfish that he wants Bella to come home and knows that the key to that is Edward. I 'm looking forward to the next chapter, please hurry, I need me some Chubward!!!

What a beautiful chapter. Shirtless Chiselward in the kitchen, hot. Sweet boy with the flower and talk of beauty at the end.
Alice and her meddling was great. The prospect of "home" and finding it in each other has me feeling hopeful.
I noticed when they were in the shop he says he'll tell his "sister" about the job the florist did. Was this intentional? Alice is his cousin technically, despite being raised pretty much as siblings.

It was too short. :( But I love that Bella is getting back close with Edward again. It seems to be the right time. I love how he is acting now. What a range of emotions in this one. The anti-depressants, curious to know what brought on the need for them.
The aunt is deserving of what ever tongue-lashing she receives for her remarks.
Bella's breakdown in the meadow, and her mumbled words, highlights of this one for me.
I see the baby steps happening, and I'm enjoying it.

Oh man. What a change! Glad to see he called for help and is willing to make the effort to work things out.
His visualizing of Bella as his only means of getting off was sad to see play out.
Esme's scare, the haunted memories, the condolence cards, the rooftop clean-up, all emotion filled moments expressed beautifully.

My heart is broken. She's gone. Really gone.
I was shaking my fist at Chubward for this one. Even though the events of prom were the same, seeing that Bella willingly accepted and believed that she was a whore and deserved it hurt. I can't believe he made her feel that way.
Then she feels the need to uproot her life and move across the country. Poor Charlie, his pleading was so sweet. Poor Alice for not getting a proper goodbye. Poor Chubward for being hurt and saying all the wrong things. Poor Bella for having to let it all go.
Nicely done.
Author's Response: She was utterly and completely destroyed by his words. Mind you, there was much going on allowing her to accept this as truth from him - it wasn't just what *he* said that broke her. But it was the last straw.

Gah. Again I knew what was coming having read the Smut Monday entry where Chubward popped his cherry, but this still hurt my heart. The comment about Lauren and Jessica being whores but being honest about it was especially harsh.

I'm truly loving all the emotions that are so pronounced in this fic. It really enhances the characters and thier stories.
I think that it's sweet that Bella is trying to get past her insecurities a little for her friends. His reactions to her; taking care of her is allowing her to open up and take care of him right back, just like the beginning.
Author's Response: It is very brave of Bella to try to take care of Edward after everything between them. She is truly trying to get past her own demons.

Wow. I saw it coming when they opened the door, but that didn't stop it from hitting me hard. That was intense, and I write this with tears in my eyes and my heart in my throat.
Poor Chubward. Poor Bella.
The promise to never leave is a hefty one and it will sadden me when it inevidently gets broken.
Carlisle telling him he is his son touched me deeply.
Wonderful chapter.
