I saw the rec for this fic over on SYTYCW. I am pleasantly surprised by how fresh and different this story is. I'm enjoying the fact that here we have an Edward that is NOT physically perfect. There's no instant physical attraction between the two, just a good solid friendship.

Thanks for an interesting read thus far.

Gah. I hate it when I start reading a really good fic and don't think to check how many chapters there are and then I sink into it and then it gets good...and then I realize there's no next to click on. ::facepalm::

So. Yes. Thank you both so much for writing. This kind of fragile Bella is interesting and very realistic, and the way that you've written Edward is intriguing. Sadly, boys don't think so much about how the words they say when they are young and dumb tend to linger. For years. But I digress.

I'm favoriting this as soon as I hit submit, and will wait not so patiently (I suck at patient) for updates.

Oh, and warn a chick please. "Drunkella and the Peen" resulted in unfortunate Dr. Pepper sprayage.

Of course it was fun seeing Bella drunk like that. But also, it was what she had been long hiding/keeping buried deep inside her for all this time. Maybe this will wake Edward up, in terms of the serious soul damage he inflicted upon Bella. A wound that's clearly far from healing. Maybe now, when they both have said their truth (Edward at the cemetery, Bella drunk in the car), they can start a healing process, together. I'm really looking forward to that :D

I can totally see Bella trying to go home in FL. Yet that would only mean she'd escape, unresolved issues still present.

I really hope they give each other a chance. They deserve it, after all this pain and anguish.

I have already reviewed this chapter, but I just found your alternate scenario on Smut Mondays and I just had to say how much I loved it, and how sad I am that's not what really happened! I'm sorry Chubward never got his wicked way with Bella when he was still Chubward.....

I'd missed this as I don't read the Smut Mondays often (I enjoy a bit of smut as much as the next girl, hell, maybe more lol) but I enjoy it in context with the stories better, but I'd heard Art after 5 was on this week so sought it out....

Becomes the Swan is my favourite on here at the moment, looking forward to your next post!

That was a tough chapter to get through. It had me cringing at times thinking "don't do it Bella". But in the end it wasn't so bad. Progress was made.

I loved the extra length of this chapter. I don't mind that it took Bella getting really drunk to tell Edward a lot of things she normally would not have told him. There's so much that probably broke his heart. They NEED to have that talk when she's sober, but she'll most likely be resistant to confirming or revealing any more truths. Chubward has just got to get through to her some how!

god i absolutley love this story!! seriously, love this new spin with chubward, how could anyone not adore him well, before the man whoring ways. I love how as I read through the chapters with a big old knot in my throat like I'm going to just start blubbering at any time. i love that she really tore into him even if it was in her drunken yet passive agressive way, well little less passive and a little more aggressive this time, but he needed Lauren shoved in his face, I cant wait to see his taken on her little break down and I cant wait to see where this goes from here. Well, I have to say that I'm a little bit relieved that Bella finally got some of that shit out...even if it was in a drunken state. Edward had to be forced to realize how messed up Bella really is. Hmmm- he can't just be honest? She laid it out- albeit in a drunken haze and he was holding back. I'm glad he said it but he should just be honest at this point - he has nothing to lose either.

I think, with him, he wanted to be sure that she remembers it all so he was hesitant to let it all go while she was drunk. Not necessarily right or wrong, but I think that was his thought process.
