I think that although I understand and even agree with why you went over the same ground from EPOV, I am feeling just a wee bit jipped right now because it is almost a holiday weekend and we've only covered a little bit of new ground with this chapter and now I'll have to wait even longer for the chapter that shows what happens the next day and I am really enjoying this run-on sentence way too much!

Great chapter. I always enjoy hearing Edward's thoughts on things. I had a feeling that he would respond in typical guy fashion upon hearing that Bella was a virgin. Seriously, men!
It finally seems as if the two are going to be able to move forward too so I'm super excited to see what happens next. Thanks again for bringing Chubward into our lives!

Oh, thank God! I was so worried and then that last little part gave me my glimmer of hope back. I know it won't be all peaches and cream from this point on, but like Edward said, Bella took the first step. This shit makes my heart ache and twist in my chest. Well I was a little worried after that phone call to Alice but it was a happy ending to this chapter. They still have a long way to go, but I'm enjoying the story so far very much!
Author's Response: The phone call.....yeah....Edward hates that he is hurting Bella and without her taking a step towards him he might have just slipped out of the picture to save her the emotional damage so this was a good thing. Thank you for reviewing.

Her breakdown on the dance floor...her slightly incoherent confessions in the car... it all just... hurt my heart. :(
I wonder what Edward will do with the revelation that she's still a virgin... No doubt, he will probably feel even worse about the man he'd become in her absence. Will Bella remember everything she said to him? Gawd, if so, she will probably be mortified...

I am so happy with the progress between these two in this chap! The scene at his parents' grave... *sob* I'm so glad Bella was there to hear him in that completely unguarded and heartbreakingly honest moment. How could she not believe him now? I mean, I don't expect it to be all sunshine and rainbows from here on out, but... hell yeah, progress! I mean, she called him "mon coeur" again! And, and she's agreeing to movie time on the couch! I decided not to review last week because my mother had thought me when you have nothing nice to say, don't say a thing.
But, this story and stories similar to this are really starting to get on my nerve.
Every one of us teach and learn to others about life. You might not realize this but as someone who decided to write a story, you are influencing and teaching others especially the young woman who seem to be 90% of the average FF readers, what is an acceptable behavior. As someone who is in health care industry and is called to emergency room few times a week to reconstruct another young girls face who thought having an asshole boyfriend is what she deserves, I am truly appalled by the message you are sending to your young readers.
When you are depressed and suffering because you had an emotional Trauma, you don't need a man. You need a doctor.
Author's Response: Firstly, we appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. We are each entitled to our opinion no matter what it is. You need to remember, however, that we have free artistic license to write our story as we see fit. Is there a lesson to our story....yes. Have you read the story to completion to obtain that message....no as it is not yet completed.
As for the young girls that read on this site, there is a NC-17 rating for a reason, and there is also a Twilighted Teens site for fiction rated suitable for young readers. If there are young girls reading our story then their parents are remiss for allowing them or not being aware of the content that they are viewing on the internet.
My husband is in the health care industry on the front line and I work in Family Law. We both deal with abuse victims on a daily basis. Bella has not, nor will she ever be, physically abused in this story so the reference of being called to the ER to reconstruct someones faces and saying we are sending the message that this is okay is absolutely appalling to me. It is NOT okay and we have never so much as implied this.
Yes Bella suffered emotional trauma and has underlying issues. She will get help and she will seek counselling. This story is about the journey to healing and forgiveness. I am sorry if you think otherwise.

A wave of guilt crashed over me as I let this set in. Before I could truly comprehend the feeling, another one came rushing over me. Euphoria.

My honest review of that segment... ....What a dick! it's easy to feel that way having had plenty 'O' Ass himself...
OK, moving past that, It's easy to be angry at Edward when reading BPOV, but then you get EPOV and you feel for him too... I will admit I have struggled to get over his whoring around, and likely never will... So I am just reading to see where you take these great characters...
It's interesting to still like an Edward like I do this one, even having the conflicting feelings for his past that I do...
It's a heartbreaking story and you two are doing such a great job with it, and as always I cannot wait for an update...
Author's Response: This was Edward's initial reaction, but once he ponders this he is going to feel all kinds of not good enough for her as he sees himself as tainted. He hates himself more than anyone else...trust me.
