I have 1 question- why didn't Bella hear her phone that she missed all the texts?

I am glad to see things progressing for them & look forward to further encounters!

Author's Response:

She just wasn't paying attention to the phone.  She had left it in the kitchen and was distracted by her thoughts and not staying in one place very long.

Author's Response:

Blankie touching coming right up!

sigh. nothing like a little hot tub action to get the party going... i'm glad to see bella is letting edward back in, slowly but surely... can't wait for the wedding!

Author's Response:

It's going to take time.  They needed to stop where they did though or they may have set themselves back.

Wedding is coming soon!

GAH! That was so...mmmmm. Perfect, really!

I SO thought something was going to happen to Charlie while walking home! I was nervous to read this chapter for that reason alone, lol! Such a pansy ass, I know, I know...but you girls are just awesome and totally rocked it with this one!

Author's Response:

Nope, no one was seriously injured in the chapter.  Well, except the deer....

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Awww poor Chubward. He is injured! But Bella is taking good care of him. That was HAWT! :P

Good job girls.

Author's Response:

We’re so glad you enjoyed it!  Don't worry, Chubward isn't very injured....

Great chapter!

It was hot, I had to cool off outside in the snow ;-)

I'm glad they are becoming more open with eachother now that Bella had her wake-up call. I wonder what will happen after the wedding when it's time to say goodbye and if she'll still be a virgin by then.

I'm sure Bella will be leaving, but I can see Edward coming after her to bring her back if needed kicking and screaming.

Eagerly awaiting an update!

Author's Response:

Well, you'll definitely find out soon what happens over the next few days.  We don't want to give away too much, but there will be ups and downs....

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Bella progress = WIN!  Just PLEASE don't let her move backwards anymore.  And PLEASE let Edward getting hurt be the incentive she needed to stay after the wedding!

Author's Response:

Alas, we have a lot of story left, and like any real person, there will be ups and down from here...  Just hang in there!

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

We are glad!  Tammy's husband is a French speaking Canadian and helps us out a lot:)

Oh good GOD, I nearly died from laughter!!! That was the FUNNIEST fucking thing I've ever read, oh, stomach mucles still sore...the blankie, bahahahaha, ow, gotta stop remembering, that is SO going to stick with me all day long, and I have to have to lead a Safety Meeting with 15 guys, yeah, how the hell am I going to keep a straight face!?!?

Awesome chapter, love love LOVED it!

Author's Response:

LOL!  I bet you'll never look at banana pancakes or blankies the same way ever again!

Oh, it was hot and beautiful...perfect  *stomps off to take a cold shower*

~Thanks!

Author's Response:

Well, then hang on to your hat for the next one!  Have the shower ready!

Hell yeah it was hot enough!  You can sooo see their progression... and knowing Bella's thoughts definitely helps.  The action was just enough... if Bella had allowed anymore then she would've probably regretted it.

Can't wait for the next update and see how things go the next day.

Author's Response:

We know we blocked them, but you're right.  Any further would have set them back.  He knew that better than her.

You'll get a glimpse of the morning after in the next chapter!

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

So sweet and perfect and HOT!  So happy that the accident made them both realize that they have to say *something* now, before it's too late.  Maybe not everything's fixed but they are definitely on their way.

Okay, no blankie yet....but soon?

Great job, Ellie!

--Melanie

Author's Response:

LOL!  More blankie *very* soon!

Yes, the first half of the chapter had to happen to make the second half possible.  Definitely huge strides forward, though...

It was hot, but jeez, way to scare a girl Carlisle and Charlie.  And Bella seems like she should be talking to someone about her issues (is she seeing a therapist back home?)  She is so extreme sometimes with how she feels about herself, I just want to shake her!! So is she sleeping topless?  Please say yes.... lol

Author's Response:

Carlisle and Charlie did NOT think that through very well.  Bella does need to work through her issues and she has seen therapists on and off since she left.

As for her the state of her sleepwear, you'll find out in the next chapter...

Dear lord my good authors, I'm surprised that the water didn't evaporate from that hot tub. Talk about scary...the idea of Edward being gone...gasp...don't even want to think about it. I am glad however that this happened seeing that it is opening them both up about things.

Author's Response:

We’re so glad you enjoyed it!  Yeah, there was a scare at the beginning, but it needed to happen for the end to occur...

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: jtaylor1972 (Signed) · Date: January 19, 2010 07:08 AM · On: Fragile

That was a tiny bit scary for a few paragraphs... thinking Edward was severly injured or like in a coma...

This chapter left me with a nice warm gooey feeling inside!  I love this story and I can't wait to see where things go from this point.

Awaiting anxiously for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

We’re so glad you enjoyed it!  Hopefully we'll have the next chapter up next week!

Well as long as their moving forward.  I almost had heart failure when she opened the door and Charlie and Carlisle were there.  But if it takes a deer and a totalled volvo to get these two together, I'm all for it!  :D

Author's Response:

Charlie and Carlisle did not think that through well.  But the first half of the chapter had to happen for the second half to occur.

Yea Bella!!!  I am glad that these two are moving forward and hope that it is hot!!!!!  I have to admit that I thought the same thing she did when she opened the door and Charlie and Carlisle were standing there.

Author's Response:

Yeah, Charlie and Carlisle did not think that through well...

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Fi.nuh.ly.  Well, sorta.  There are still things to be said.  Bella just needs to say what she feels, all of it.  The fears, the insecurities, the desperation, the loneliness, the emptiness, how the tentative beginnings of hope paralyze her with fear, how she wants to try but is immobilized by memories, about that stupid damn voice that keeps saying whore, about how much she wants to trust him but is tied up in lack of self esteem.  He needs to reassure, but also let her know how much of his issues revolved around insecurities and lack of self esteem as well.  They need to full on talk about the possible leaving or staying.  Personally, if I were Edward, I would ask her to stay, letting her know she doesn't need to commit to anything permanent, but would love it if she did.  The point being, there may not be enough time for them to resolve everything necessary in three days.  They will need more time and maybe counseling to get to a really solid place.  And yeah, it means a big commitment, but really everybody that she cares about pretty much is here.  Oh and btw, exciting, hot and for the beginning scary.  Can't believe Charlie and Carlisle did that.  Duh to them.

Author's Response:

Bella's even too messed up to really articulate it at this point.  She knows that she is not right in the head (nor is Chubward for that matter) and she has a lot to deal with, but I think organizing it into cohesive thoughts would be so difficult for her right now.  She's taking baby steps toward that.

You're right though.  3 days is not enough time to fix this level of damage - not in a tangible, lasting way.  We shall see what they do with that knowledge.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Not only was that hot, it was totally romantic and so real!  You had me in tears this chapter...I'm truly happy for these two and the turnaround that seems like its coming.  This was so sweet!

Author's Response:

We’re so glad you enjoyed it!  They were kinda sweet, weren't they:)
