Naw, her back story was nice. I twould explain how she changed but basically stayed the same. I probably would have played up the nearly seen sparkling in the headlights or something to make that a bit stronger, but otherwise it flowed nicely. Could sense Bella's pain and her parents' without wallowing in angstville.
Giggling at E (I'm sure) growling at A saying B was hers! Pretty sure it's Prom and Bella's not any more interested in it now that she was in canon. tee hee!

Author's Response: I don't think they sparkle in artificial light, or they would sparkle at school. I left the growling annonomous because it could have been Edward because he wants Bella or it could have been Jasper because she's his sister, I left it up to the reader to decide.
