I am really enjoying the whole nomadic trip on the way to Rio. I think it is a very creative and adventure filled way to show relationship progression and the whole "newborn training" stuff without drifting into monotony or boredom. I don't know that I have ever read another fanfic author that has chosen to do this. I read a lot of fanfic.

I just found this fanfic a few days ago and I read it all the way through. Nicely done! I liked how Jacob and Billy initially helped Bella during her transformation, and how Bella and Edward reunited and rekindled. You really surprised me with vampire Charlie. I never read a fic with Charlie having been turned, and I like how you handled it. His gift of being a lie detector makes a lot of sense. I also like how she can have him in her "life" now. Well, I can't wait for the next update!

OUCH. What a treat getting an update...but thank you for the summary as it helped to get back into it without rereading it.
Great story - dialogue, tension, family; but please tell me that Charlie can be fixed. Bella will become as emo as Edward if she goes through eternity with the guilt of dismembering her own father!

Ah, so that's what the "gold is good" comment was about. Charlie sees a 'gold' color when someone's sincere. I'm surprised Bella didn't pick up on that during the conversation. Anyhoo...good chapter, and I can't wait for the next one. I'm wondering what kind of drama the fight will bring.
