Bella can't die no matter what! She has to hold out for Edward just like he is holding out for her! it has to be a happy ending :)

I just saw new moon, I thought it was better than twilight.
thanks, for the update. I'm really enjoying your story too!

Ch 2 -You've definitely got the feel of the hospital, the kidney shaped bowl, etc. I like that you don't leave out things like the nausea. Nice Jasper.

K, my favorite book of the series is Eclipse. Way good.
And I saw New Moon last night. But I have to go see it again because the people sitting behind us were talking all throughout the movie. Stupid people.
I loved this chapter, and thanks for not leaving us hanging with the end of her saying no to Edward.
I can understand where she's coming from, i'd probably do the same thing if I was in the same situation.
Great job, can't wait for the next chapter!

Love this, and I'm not usually one for present tense (no good reason why). Anyway, great first chapter, especially the teen room.

Great chapter. I'm glad Edward still gave Bella a homecoming even though she was in hospital. Poor Rose, hope Bella can help her once they tell her what happened.
Can't wait to read more. Please update soon.

Bugs... I am terrified of creepy crawlies which include crawfish.
Author's Response: I'm an arachnophobe, myself, so I know what you mean!

Since I'm loving your story, I shall embarrass myself.
The friend that I had been planning on going to prom with got the chance to go with a chick he really liked at the last minute, so I was planning on going with our group of ), I thought "Whoo! Free meal!".
I did NOT expect him to show up in a kilt (he's not Scottish!), complete with shoes with spats and the beret, or to be playing grabass all night. I finally went and grabbed one of my gay friends and asked him to save me from the hand monster.
So I spent that prom night avoiding a date whose dress was shorter than mine, being protected by a six foot tall gay guy who took pity on me, until the time came when my "date" dropped me off at home, tried to come in, and I actually resorted to "Oh, I'm not allowed to have boys in the house, and isn't that Dad's cop car?" before ducking in and locking the door.
Classic.
Author's Response: Thanks for sharing your story...I have to say that although it must have sucked when it happened, it's very entertaining to hear about. I hope you can laugh about it now. =)
Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Another great chapter! I wish I had a story to tell but considering I didn't go to my prom or to any of my H.S. homecomings, I don't have a story to share :(
Author's Response: I'm so glad that you liked the chapter!
I skipped most of my school dances too--just not my thing. =)
Thanks for reviewing!

No really scarring Prom/Homecoming stories here . . . except my first Homecoming date wore Vans instead of dress shoes, and my mother was HORRIFIED. I didn't care though ;)
When are we going to find out wtf is up with Edward and his hospital history?? The longer he waits, the more upset Bella is going to be when he finally reveals it . . . What could possibly be stopping him from telling her?
Loves it--more please!
Author's Response: I love Vans! =)
Edward has his reasons for keeping his secrets, but time is against him as she won't have a good reaction...
I promise it will come up soon.

This is such a realistic story! Good job on getting everything so heart wrenching! So sad!
Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying the story. Warning...there is a little more sadness coming up. Thanks for your review!

Whoo-hoo for happy hospital kisses.
I like how Edward is stealing Tyler's half-assed way of asking Bella to the prom. It's adorable when he clarifies it with BOTH proms. I hope they're both able to go.
So curious if Edward's sicky time was just a regular flu issue, or somehow related to his ongoing health problems.
Again, so thrilled that Jake is a good guy. Why does so much of the fandom struggle with this???
Jr. year homecoming - I was one of 3 girls with the same dress. That's never fun.
Author's Response: Yes, I forgot to mention in the notes that I stole Tyler's way of asking, in homage to the original series. =) Glad you caught that! Edward wants to make sure he has all his bases covered!
Thanks for your comment about Jake--I always feel bad when he's vilified in the fandom because he is such a nice guy in canon. (it's not his fault his love is unrequited!)
BTW, I shuddered at the three dress dilemma...I feel for ya.
Thanks for reading and reviewing.

First of all I love this story. and it sucks that she couldn't go to the home coming dance. Second I love your Edward, and I know there is something up with him. And third my senior prom fell on my eighteenth birthday. I was shy as hell and my friends and parents thought it would be cool to send a singing telegram to the prom. I had to stand on stage infront of 700 people while he sang a song and I couldn't even tell what it was. I was horrified to say the least. I just wanted to hide under one of the table for the rest of the night. ya! so theres my embarrassing moment. I'm 45 and still traumatized.
Author's Response: I wanted to show that as much as Bella wants to have her 'normal' life back, she can't really ignore the fact that she is sick. I'm glad you like this Edward!
That's so sweet what your friends/family did on your bday/Prom but I could see how it would be embarrassing.
Thanks for reviewing!

so sad that they didn't go to the dance but very realistic. I can't wait for more. Seriously I am loving this story soooooo much!

Great chapter. I'm glad E/B still got to have their date. Poor Rosalie, that's awful what happened to her. Bring in Emmett to comfort her.
Author's Response: I promise Emmett will make an appearance eventually! And, yes, I had to let E/B have their own homecoming!
Thanks for all your support!

This is a very touching story, I'm anxious to see where you go with it. I'm curious to know what Edward is hiding. Any clues? Will we be finding out anytime soon?
Looking forward to your next update. I hope it's soon.
Author's Response: No clues for Edward--there are a few in the story and there will be more clues in the next two chapters. =)
Thanks for reviewing!

I wish I had a prom like this (we didn't have homecoming dances). A heck of a lot better than mine.
You want an embarrassing prom story... I invited my best friend, who was turning into a boyfriend. I paid for the tickets... he was sweet and lovely... until we got to the Prom and the girl he really wanted to go with was there, dateless. He spent the whole night dancing with her, and I ended out in the memory garden crying. We didn't date after that.
Author's Response: Oooh, so sorry to hear about your Prom.
Bella's homecoming could have been a disaster, but Edward does make it better. If only Royce didn't ruin it for everyone!
Thanks for your review!

Yea for Jake, punching Royce. What a douche. I'm so happy that Edward was able to take Bella to her "homecoming". At least they have prom! I'm nervous about his illness, though....and I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter.
xoxo Sarah
Author's Response: Sarah--
Yes, my Jake is a nice guy in this story. Poor Jake gets killed in FF, IMO, even though canon Jake is overall a nice guy. =)

My friend got her scarf stuck in the car door... it was funny to watch them drive down the street and her scarf's hanging out of the bottom of the door.
Anyways, awesome chapter, hon!! Will Emmett be making an appearance?
I can't wait for the next one.
Author's Response: Nikki- I promise Emmett will be making an appearance soon...but won't necessarily be meeting Rose soon.

Hey Melanie
How disappointing for Bella, but I guess it's a reality of her illness. I am really feeling this story at the moment. A good friend of mine's 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with AML last week and is already having chemo. It makes me so grateful for the 2 healthy, but rambunctious, boys that I have.
My embarrassing story (we don't have prom out here but we do have what they call "Formals). The guy I'd asked to my 10th grade formal pulled out the night before, I had to go on my own. It was devastating and embarrassing.
Thanks again for your story.
Annette
Author's Response: Annette--so sorry to hear about your friend and her daughter...I think that's every mother's big fear, that something will happen to their children. I hope everything is going okay for them.
As far as Bella's situation goes, I want to make it as realistic as possible, but still fit in with the story.
Thanks for all of your support!
