Reviews For With Teeth

Edward's just remarkable.  I love the way you've crafted his character.  It's impossibile not be in his court, hoping he makes it.  Hearing that Jasper had been in rehab 5 times was like getting doused with cold water.  Sad to realize that a relapse is so common.

jesus fucking christ. i have just read more than half of this story in one sitting while i have more than a few other things i need to be doing.

this is, by far, the cutest & sweetest edward/bella i have ever come across. i'm sitting here like a fucking 12 year-old hoping they'll hold hands. normally, i'd be frustrated as hell and talking to my screen telling them to fuck already.

this has so much sexual tension, but in the sweetest way. i just giggled for like, 10 minutes because of their first kisses.

there's nothing about this story i dislike. there are no characters i want to fall off the face of the earth. both mike and seth are great and i'm so glad.
i've never seen an awesome mike.

i usually hate when chapters are as long as these because my attention span is short as fuck. but i really, really, REALLY don't mind with this story.

nothing huge has happened yet, but i am so intrigued and your writing is so great. i'm just...so in love with this. i can't wait to read more soon!

I love this.  Even tweeted about it, and "sunshine"  tweeted that she loves it, too.  Are you on Twitter?

Oh my goodness.  I've been reading this slowly and I haven't reviewed each chapter. I'm sorry for that. But it's not because I don't love the story, I do love it. But I had to tell you that this chapter was amazing. Absolutely amazing. The paragraphs of repitition but the inability to recall details was heartbreaking. I just wanted to cry over that. You really have a beautiful piece of work here. Thank you so much for sharing it.

Yay! So happy to see them progress - especially Edward.  He obviously needs her!  Really needs her.

Edward is an interesting hero - totally flawed.  But I can see that he is trying.

You're having these characters do such a wonderfully awkward, sweet dance as they get to know each other.  It's deeply touching.  I love it.

Hi! long time lurker. just wanted to tell you that this is amazing. I love how to managed to put Doris Lessing, George Orwell and Billy Bragg together . <I love B. Bragg> :) Plus there's Che Guevara, of course. Even the Com Manifesto merited a mention. And oh -- totally on another category -- Boris Yeltsin!  I LOVE IT.

I like how this story is progressing.  You are weaving a really intriguing tale.

That was adorable and sweet and beautifully done.

Aw, the inspiration of Bella.  Loved the first part of this chapter - the style was novel and really helped perfectly to convey exactly the way Edward's mind was functioning.  Great device.

John Fowles!!  I haven't thought about his work in a million years.  But I was a big fan once, when I used to be more intellectual. Probably before grad school and corporarate life and marriage and children - all the things that leave you little time to indulge in fiction and intellectual thought.  So I loved seeing bella light up as she spoke about different authors and books.

But I don't like Raymond Chandler much.  No biggie.

The conversation with Jasper was so well done.  I really love this story.  If I forgot to tell you, it was littlesecret84 who red'd it to me originally, although I've seen others tweet about it.

Holy cow.  Edward's loneliness and discomfort just radiates off the computer screen.  This is so well written.  You are seriously talented.

This chapter was so powerful in its descriptions of the settings.  I loved your discussion of the extreme quiet of Forks. And I loved the interactions with Charlie.  But the best is how you're writing Bella's infatuation with her stone-faced mystery man.

Well I spent my Sunday reading this and it was a very good Sunday:). I was hooked after the first chapter. I just couldn't stop reading. Amazing!! Everytime Edward opens his mouth and speaks my heart breaks for him. I'm addicted. Great writing!

Wow. I really love this story. It came highly recommended and I was not disapointed. Is it only on Twilighted or do you have a FF link so I can get update alerts?

This chapter was so good. Edward's confession of sorts in the AA meeting was intense and awful (this is a complimentary awful btw) - you did such a great job with that part, both the words he said and the description of how he felt and looked.

Edward's life is making me feel claustrophobic, but that is the point, right?

I can't even begin to tell you how much I am loving this story.  This chapter was precious :)

*sigh* I am just in love with this fic.  I mean, everything about it has me completely raptured.  I love your writing style - how it flows like thoughts without being tedious.  And I love, love, love that they are REAL thoughts - the very thoughts that I think (or would think) and that makes this story so much more tangible.

I'm actually pretty upset that I started this already...I really should have waited until you had more complete because now I'm like a dog staring at a nice juicy bone that I can't have.  I need more, but I'll be patient.

Wonderful job. :)

It's amazing how much this story stands out from the crowd. First of all, the plot is different, but the real difference is the writing--head and shoulders above anything else I've read in ff. You've obviously been doing this for a while, and it's really good. A pro slumming? Looking forward to more.

Aha! This was such a sweet chapter with him following her around in the bookstore, offering to help, his description of her under the umbrella, them exchanging 'I like you's' and her teaching him a guitar chord.  Then the kisses were hot and passionate, woo-hoo!

i can oly see this as a positive thing for edwards recovery.  She can provide him with love, trust and support and that can only help keep him on an even keel.

OK, now I'm caught up and ready for next update!

Thanks,

Kat

I guess I don't know much about AA, but why do they tell you not to be in a relationship?  Is that a possible trigger for a relapse?  What if people already are, like married or engaged?  It would seem like building a healthy relationship would be a good thing, having that support and trust.

He is such a different person already.

And more...
