oh my doesn't your heart just ache for poor edward? there is so much he wishes he could do but can't. i wonder who will be the first to crack? or will they make it to jasper's permission of them being together? does jasper need to give his ok for edward to start dating? is there a timeline? don't know all of the ins and outs of AA / NA.
whatever it still makes you want to hug and love edward.

I feel so compassionate for those that are going through rehab. It's hard for me to understand - but you take me there into their world and make me walk a mile in their shoes.
I never thought I would be interested in this type of story but my heart is breaking. I guess if you are really honest we all have are addictions / habits mine is food.

that was fucked up! but saddly so true as to the horrible things an addiction can bring you to do.

How do you write this? I had to look away when Edward was recounting his story, like looking away would help! I just want to cuddle him, or for Bella to cuddle him, OR JASPER for gods sake, just one big hug.

at least we have now seen some of the rest of the story with jasper's accident, i knew there was more to it. wonder if charlie knows about jasper's addiction after the crash. i guess this may also explain why alice and jasper do not want to move away, he needs to be there for his group.
can't wait to see how bella is going to make things right with edward. bring him back to opening up.

I found your story earlier tonight and couldn't stop reading it! It is so well written and such a great story. I really appreciate how you so depicted so well at the beginning, the depths to which Edward had fallen in his addiction and how he was just kind of a zombie going through the motions every day in his early weeks out of rehab. And, the slow build up to where they are now. I'm kind of anticipating a fall off the wagon- just thinking about the general statistics for addicts and relapse... I can't wait to read what happens next!
