I can't recall if I've already told you, but you do a fantastic job with conversations between characters. They aren't awkward or cheesy, to be honestly they flow extremely smoothly and sound natural. It's rare to find a fic like that.

I am really proud of Edward for the strength he has shown through these last chapters, and I'm really hoping that bella's reaction doesn't scare him back into his shell. And I had a feeling there was more to Jaspers story. It'll be interesting to see how he relationships ar going to change now that the secrets are starting to trickle out.

Wow. I just read all 12 chapters. Your story is amazing. I think your portrayal of an addict is right on, especially the sex scene in this chapter. Thanks for your hard work! And I love your taste in music, too!

This paragraph:

All the men I shoved, then slapped around, then punched, then kicked when they couldn't pay up.  Or when they tried to steal my customers.  The handful of guys I'd gone at with a bat, sometimes offensively, mostly defensively.....  I recall taking a crowbar to someone's bathroom - the toilet, the sink, the glass door of the shower.  Shattered porcelain and glass and water everywhere.  I'd attacked the mirror with particular relish.  I amend the list.

Well, really, the entire chapter, has so much behind it. I don't know if you have personal experience, or know someone, or if you just do an extensive amount of research, whatever it is, the detail and emotion behind your writing Edward is so real.

I am honestly enjoying reading this so much. Lately it seems the fics I've read have bored me by the 2nd or 3rd chapter, but I can't say that about this one.  

 

Between Seth and Mike I'm really beginning to love your characters. And Bella, I actually don't hate her (kind of rare for me). She's young and relatable, someone I could see befriending in real life.

I think I might have a slight crush on your Seth to be honest.

Ok, now the chapter review.  I think this is the most raw description of an excesive edward I've seen in...well, forever.  I feel sorry for him and then I feel disgusted, not because of his addiction, but because the images you put in my mind are so vivid, so real, it is easy for my to see him swimming in his own vomit and having nasty sex just because he can.  It's very brave of you to give such a deep perspective of something that can be not so well received and for that I admire you work.  But, my admiration is also for the character you have formed.  Even a drug addict and alcoholic, Edward, the one we love is still there, making his way out, having thoughs and analysing his behavior, that's really cool!.  I'll keep on reading and reviewing, see you soon.
