Gorgeous!  I love it!  How refreshing to read a sex scene where she doesn't instantly pop off into multiple orgasms the moment he touches her.  The unrealistic expectations of fanfiction sex really bug me sometimes, but this is just lovely, while still being really hot.  I can't wait to read more.  I love these two characters.

i imagine the reason for his bad day had to do with either jasper, or his job.  i'm hoping he hasn't acquired a new addiction in Bella with which to distract him from his other life garbage.  i figure this is why they suggest newly clean addicts refrain from new relationships - to avoid replacing one thing with another, but learn coping skills and establish some good patterns and such before they try to handle the emotional demands of a serious relationship.  i think edward and bella know this deep down, and i think this is why they both are indifferent about telling jasper, or even perhaps actively avoiding it.

i am totally intrigued by the Loopy story, and am fascinated to see how you frame it as edward continues to reveal himself to bella.  edward's loving parents don't sound like the kind who would spawn such a destructively addictive son.  of course, not all our addictions can be blamed on our parents/childhood scars, but i imagine if their relationship was as loving/healthy as the Loopy story hints, he would have been better equipped to handle temptations or challenges as a teen/young adult.  as a parent at least, I hope my own son knows he can come to me for help.  now i want to go back and re-read to see if you've dropped other hints on his childhood/background - can't recall right now (ri'm eading too many damn fics!).

god - i love the way you write.  soo clear and honest, it just blows me away with every chapter, the clean, spare beauty of your desriptions and dialogue.  i've laid in this bed, i've spoken the words they're speaking, i've felt that ten minute frustration and embarrassment, and that joy when your partner doesn't care... those moments, Loopy, her quiet acceptance of his past, letting it be his past, THAT is what matters.

That probably has to be my favorite part of the chapter. I have only felt like that once and I cried afterward. That is pure and real. Fantastic! 

I have loved this story from the very beginning but this is my first review. I DID leave you words in your thread and have recommended you to readers at the website "adifferentforest.com" where you have gained quite a following including your own threads (you should stop over and see, we would love to talk..and we are huge music lovers to boot!) If you didn't have so many reviews, I would have written my recommendation on tlydf chapters ago but alas, you are too popular and I have to tell people via other means.

This chapter was proof that, at a time when authors seem to rush things, you continue to pace yourself with such intricate feeling and honest emotion. It is rare that I start a new story by an author I never heard of and feel so strongly about it. I thank you for writing this and will wait for the next chapter. You have proven that the unresolved tension does not resolve itself with sex alone. If anything, it just muddies the waters as to it's consequences. 

 

You have outdone yourself with this chapter. I could really picture them in bed talking, fucking, and just learning each other. I felt their connection getting stronger.

Ahhhh, at last a fanfic told with such truth and honesty. My heart longs for the next chapter. You have the ability to reach into your very soul and pull out of it so profoundly the treasure of pure intimacy. 

This story does'nt speak to those parts of us that seek the (illusion) or the dream of love but instead to those tangible, physical aspects of our beings, where theres truth and beauty in the simple touch of a hand and the reality of a wet spot.
