Oh BRAVO for writing such a realistic love scene.  I feel so inadequate reading the ones where the guy pumps three times and the girl "comes undone."  And let's be real - it very often takes more than a pretty man saying, "Come for me now," to actually affect that.

But this was sweet yet intense, and felt very familiar - I loved it.  I worry what Edward will do when Bella moves though.  <sigh>  He's so fragile,his "crust" having been removed so recently.  I hope he'll congeal rather than encrust all over again.

I love poor broken Edward, but he breaks my heart ;o(

I love how you stay true to the realistic voice of your story even through the lemons. That's an area where it's so easy to shine everything up and make the sex uber-fantastic. The realism and getting the emotions right is so satisfying, too, and still completely sexy. :)

It's like you lived this yesterday and remember everything, and I feel like I'm 20 again, reading it. You describe this gentle, needful fumbling with such wonderful ease, it helps me remember the flush of being in love for the first time x Beautiful x

I just started your story today and am on Chapter 6.  I'm struck by the genius of Edward's "rote day" chapter, and even by the sensation of the brown paper towels on his hands in this chapter.  It was the perfect analogy for the way he had not felt anything for so long and suddenly he takes notice of the mundane.  I love this about your style.

Naturally I'm anxious for Bella and Edward to get together but your slow burn is still full of intrigue.  Thank you for sharing!

I've just discovered this story and I was going to wait until I got caught up before reviewing, but this chapter just stunned me.  The details.  The way you capture the emptiness of Edward's life, his loneliness, his new ablity to notice things around him.  It's beautiful.
