God...that was really good!  I'm so horrible because this is my first review, however I didn't start reading until you had 14 chapters up and I just couldn't stop...I read it all in one sitting!  I really can't put my finger on exactly what it is, but something about your writing is so intense.  A lot of times when I'm reading a story (particularly fanfic) it's so sensationalized and I can't relate to it.  That is not the case in 'With Teeth'.  I feel so connected to the way they think, especially Edward and his insecurities.  I love that Bella is so real with him, that she accepts him completely and manages to never come off condescending or self righteous.  She lets him know when she doesn't understand something.  I think that's rare; people tend to be intimidated by things they don't understand and as a result make ignorant assumptions or judgements.

I'll be honest though, I worry what will happen when Bella leaves.  I don't think she realizes how important she has become to him.  I hope she handles him with care :(  I know his insecurity will be a hurdle for them but I'm rooting for them!  Thanks for sharing this amazing story with us and for handling the sensetive subject matter so respectfully!

Finally. I mean I like the build up but I was wondering when they would actually talk to each other! Great chapter!

Awww they really think they can be friends. That's cute. UNTIL they kiss. Or have sex. And it's going to happen. Obviously.

Hmm.  I sense a "i'm not good for you" kinda thing coming up.  LOve the depth of these characters.

Nothing has changed but all is changed. They still spend time talking about nothing and everything. Bella still asks questions that Edward tries to answer as honest and as simply as possible.

They both wanted more, to go further, but they both know they need to pace themselves. Nothing was mentioned about this. That's part of their magic and charm. It didn't have to.

But as comfortable and good as all this feels, there's more to it. Edward has to tell Jasper, and he has to stop stalling. Jasper saw there's something that is not quite like it was before he left. He knows Edward will tell him, he won't push, but Edward has to tell him soon. 

How will Jasper react? What will he say to Edward? to Bella?

Another outstanding chapter. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to read dialogue that feels natural; not contrived. My favorite line from this chapter:

"It's sexy, how smart you are."

I love that. It isn't her brown eyes, her vulnerability, her pretty, long hair that makes her sexy--it is that she is smart and funny and different. Yes!

Like Edward, I see cloudy skies and a lot of rain in the forecast, but I am looking forward to every chapter.

 

Thanks for writing. This is the first story I have read that makes me actually want to start writing again. It rocks.
