This chapter makes me hopeful...I'm so glad to see Edward healthy. I'm glad that he and Bella can talk, and maybe start to heal as well.
1. "My heart skips a single beat and even though my stomach rolls with nerves, an involuntary smile lifts the corners of my mouth."-*SIGH* Edward....until this very day I have no idea why you leave her
2. "When I look up again, she's still smiling and watching me, almost like I'm a curiosity, like she's trying to decipher who or what I am."-Does E look different? Better maybe?
3. Music education?! E's going back to school?! I'm glad for him
4. "I look. A few times. She's put on a little weight, a few pounds, maybe. Her thighs are a little thicker, her hips a bit wider, and it looks good on her."-You are a bastard E...but you can't help it, B is a fox!
5. B:"The whole ‘I'm not good enough' thing. You're over that, right?...I can't even express how batshit-crazy that makes me."-ME TOO!
6. "It's hard to explain. I wanted to use - of course I wanted to, I always did, I do now sometimes - but I didn't want you there. I didn't want you to see that. At the same time..being with you meant I couldn't do it"-SO he breaks up with B to protect her from himself
7. "No one had ever loved me like that before. I didn't think anyone ever would...When people matter to me, they matter to me, you know?"-LOVE LOVE LOVE Bella! She is FIERCE and FEARLESS
8. "I smoke much less than I used to - all the running I do has made keeping up my nearly a pack a day habit basically impossible."-E's running too?! He's changed...
9. E:"Kind of. I couldn't tell if she cared or if she didn't."-B is probably just as confused as you are...not sure where your relationship goes from here or if you even have one
10. "So you don't love her, but aren't indifferent to her, and yet you expect her to feel one of those things for you?"-Dr. Sayer! This is deep!
11. "It's more like, even if I hadn't been attracted to Bella, I would've wanted to be her friend."-*BIG SMILE*

Awe, he had a cleansing experience. He still needs to dig a little deeper & get real with his feelings & hopes & desires & self denial. arghh I totally agreed with B.'s statement, "it makes me crazy, the whole ' I'm not good enough' thing."
I get that he doesn't have expectations for anything with her because he's trying to be a realist now, but a deeper more honest realist would acknowledge that he knows the above and knows he wants it even though he maybe shouldn't. What my therapist said, "; Because I want it. It doesn't have to make sense or be right." Of course that was in regard to her having a dog that her spouse didn't but still I think it applies to most things in life. Be real about who you are & what you want, that's how you be yourself not someone else's idea of you. Blah blah blah. ha I'll shut up now. Great chapter. Thanks for the update, can't wait for the next!<3

my heart is breaking. literally breaking, i hate that he's back to this. i thought he had come so far for a relapse. i dont know anyone who's an addict like this so to me, 8 months seems like a decent time to be sober, but i guess when you're addicted to so much, in retrospect that's not a lot.

UGH, son of a fucking whore!! this is ridiculous!! This is just me ranting btw, but i HATED new moon, b/c i felt just as much pain as Bella did when he freaking left and only really great authors who want to torture me have Edward pulling away from Bella in their stories, lol! I mean, obviously that's what fanfic is all about, their own story but with the same characters, it just pains me when i read it b/c as much as it pains me with the angst i still read tons of these fics. WOW! Very intense chapter! Brilliantly written! I was basically raised by my (AA/NA) family...I have even been to many meetings when my father was unable to find a babysitter...and I must say you got so much of the recovery process spot on!! Great job!

yes. finally. i didn't think they'd hold out for very long anyway hahah! i gotta say, Bella's pretty brave. I'm not all up on my STD knowledge, but someone mentions they had one, well in Edward's case more than one at some point, i'd be freaked the fuck out, Edward Masen or not...so good for her that she could not let it bother her as much as it would for some people, myself included.

UGh! GOod God that was amazing! I love their dialogue so much! It's so easy even when it's awkward. Maybe easy isn't the right word. natural. real? Those seem to work :) I just tweeted before I got to them making out, that if anyone reads the story to let me kno when the sexual tension would get relieved just a little bit because it was absolutely killing me! Fuck, i love them so much, hahha! Such a fantastic story, i can't wait to read on!!!!
