I love how you build their relationship. Their conversations are important... you dont your characters. It's a nice change of pace. Cant wait for the next chapter!

well, that was a lot of conversation... and he thinks she's 'been with' Jake. BUT she hasn't!!! When will he find out? And what will he think?

Every interaction between Edward and Bella where they aren't moving toward romantic reunion hurts my heart. I know that the way you've written this is much more realistic - and I'm loving it for that - but it hurts.
Because I want them to be together.
I take comfort from the example of Alice and Jasper, that they've been together for YEARS before they got engaged, because of Jasper's addiction issues. I want that to be Bella and Edward's story, as well.
Sigh.
Thank you for writing, and for your more frequent updates, now. I'm eagerly awaiting the next, to see what progress our favorite couple makes.

Wow, Edward sounds like he's sure has grown and so has Bella but she sounds like she may be a little bit bitter, which she has reason to be.
I don't know why but this seemed to be a very sad chapter to me. It tugged at my heart and brought tears to my eyes.

Just perfect. I'd been looking forward to this chapter for months! Thanks for keeping the awkwardness going. You've written this in such a sensitive and realistic fashion ... but that also makes me worry that these two won't have a HEA (because that would be much more real list). But hey! We're reading fiction here! Throw us a bone and let them grow back together, please???

Oh! It was such a sweet chapter. A little bit of awkwardness, a little bit of humor, and a bunch of serious conversation. I'm glad they are talking about stuff, and both understand that it's important to the success of their future relationship. Future relationship, yay! *crosses fingers*
I so wanted Bella to invite Edward home with her, but of course they are responsible adults now and you wouldn't let them do that. Maybe it's better this way, but I'll never admit it!

Rosalie was great - so funny and real feeling. She had great points about Bella.
The converation between Bella and Edward was really good - awkward and honest. I like that she hasn't let it all go, I also like that she gets that she played a part (not that that's what sent him into his spiral, or that she should have known how to handle everything at her age and experience level).
Their parting was so interesting - when you are approaching a relationship that was so intimate so long ago but have to step back the 100 steps or whatever to where you are now.

Ah.... I really enjoyed this chapter. After their lengthy separation, I wondered if they would talk at the wedding. I think their conversation was realistic and you had them discuss some interesting topics (like relationships). I'm really wondering where you're going with this. It's kind of like EP, you don't know if they will end up HEA and she will accept his recovery or if they will just end up being forever friends.

Well, that went better than I expected. I am glad that you didn't have her invite Edward to stay over. That would just be too much too soon. It was very interesting, the story about his parents. Both of them being alcoholics. He didn't stand a chance did he?
