It's too bad Bella and Edward have no time to actually talk to each other.  Would be very enlightening for them both.  It would put both of their minds at ease about how the other feels about them.  Bella after seeing Carlisle and Esme interact together is leaning towards their philosphy. Both Bella and Edward felt at home sleeping together.  Best sleep both of them have had since laying eyes on each other.  Looking forward to Edward winning over Charlie's approval away from Aro.  Aro only wants Bella until he tires of her. At least if Charlie gives Edward Bella's innocence she'll be taken care of and loved her whole life by him.  He'll adore and worship her each and every day by glance, word, and deeds.

Ok, the panty thing, is that really so or is that your wicked mind at work? I have to say my knowledge of the Romans are less than i would like..But would so like to think they did enjoy themselves. Enjoyed !!

Oh that was just my way of showing how Bella was different than the pack and to give her a reason to still be  a virgin as an "adult" in a society like this.  Keep in mind the panties are usually for women who are trying to create an heir with a specific person, so they can have sex, just with that "Mate" alone to ensure the correct lineage.  And it was fun letting my wicked mind loose!  Romans didn't have this as far as I know.  Most of what i know about Rome came from movies! lol

I have found out since I started writing this that Rome was very hedonistic and that they didn't have a word for romantic love only errotic love.  And it seems I came closer to the real mark than I knew.

Thank-you!  Mapping it out in my head as I work on moving house, which actually makes  me want to write more (to escape! lol).

I think it's interesting to watch Bella learn and grow. Sex (lemons) is all fine and dandy, but I can't help but get caught up in Bella's analysis of the act. It's like the way I pick apart sex scenes in movies to determine whether they are necessary or not- sex as not simply an act but a purpose. The same is true for your Edward.

And, I can't wait to see what Edward will do to try and be with Bella. Her eyes are just opening to a world she's never considered before, so I think that will leave Edward in the position to take charge in steering their budding relationship. Okay, yeah... they need to actually meet and talk to one another first, though.

I couldn't agree with you more.  I am titilated by sex acts like anyone, but find the kind without any emotional content tends to bore me quite quickly and just becomes grinding bodies and simulated passion.  I try to move my characters about as though they are on a stage where it's all about "motivation".  Yes, Edward definitely wants there to be more than an act of empty physical release, and now Bella is getting glimpses of what inner sense had held her back on the "side lines" so to speak, all this time.

Yes, Edward needs to formulate a plan now that he's fully on board with the idea that his old patterns aren't going to work for him any longer.  And (lol) yeah, they definitely need to meet.  Trying to stay true to canon that there was a lot of longing and superficial contact before there was real connection (and conversation).  With my horrendous update times its easy to lose track of the fact that it's really only been a few days.

I'm sorry, but Aro is just a pig! Shoving grapes in Renata's vajayjay, she's gonna get an infection and won't be any good to him or anyone else. That's just nasty. (sorry) I mean, I'm no prude (if I was, I sure in the hell wouldn't be reading ff!) but food in body cavities just grosses me out.

Yup!  He's world class that way!  And i doubt he'd care, he has other ways to achieve relief and might even delight in having her submission cause her discomfort.  Don't be sorry.  You're discomfort over his behavior is what I was aiming for.  He's callus in a shocking and worrisome way.  Fantasy food (where there is no germs) I can get on board with - RL not so much! lol  :D

They are incredibly drawn to eachother.  We'll just have to see, now won't we!  *mwha*

Bella just wanted to confront him. Edward had to give himself a pep talk, trying to convince himself she was shallow. Then he sees her, wanting to taste her, kiss her.
