where did u get your idea from?!?

Definitely a ride throughout the entire story.  Just when you think happiness is due around the corner another problem is revealed.  This of course causing more pain and angst among the characters.  I was shocked that a lifelong friend would actually drug her friend to get her boyfriend to break up with her.  Not that Jessica isn't the devious and jealous type to do it, it was a surprise.  As soon as Edward and Bella described how they felt after that last drink from Jessica I knew she was up to no good.  How a friend could be that way for such a long time.  Definitely Jessica was a fool and stupid to believe Mike would marry her.  She was a plaything and nothing more.  When Edward and Bella first saw each other the connection was enormous.  Jessica pushing them together for her own ends disgusting, but the two of them really enjoyed each others company.  Each shared with the other things never shared with anyone before.  Bella was all smiles and glowing with happiness.  But with Mike and his family she was quiet and accepting of whatever they wanted.  I can understand her feelings of obligation that she was mistaking for love. Mike and Lenora were using her from the beginning.  They thought the incident from Forks and helped Bella through it only to use it later publicly to make Mike and Newton Corp. better in the eyes of the press and for political votes.  When Lenora bought the building and helped with the show and possible contract, it was suspicious.  Bella felt it was their kindness, no setting up the pieces to a major chess game.  Lenora recognized Bella's talent and diversifying into another avenue would add to their successful businesses.  Bella through her contacts with Edward she learned who she really was as a person.  Edward encouraged her to be herself and not change for anyone.  If a man truly loved her he would accept all aspects of her.  The level of trust between the two rapidly grew along with their love for each other.  Neither could stop thinking about the other after their one night of loving together in Edward's apartment after being drugged.  Bella was smart to not tell Jessica.  I was surprised that Bella wasn't figuring out Jessica's plan.  Especially when she was all dressed up and meeting Mike's mother for lunch.  Why?  She's not a future part of her family.  She is just an employee of their company and a friend of Bella who was engaged to Mike.  She was just tolerated by Lenora and was used by Mike for his wicked pleasures.  Edward at the bachelor party talking with Mike even drunk he was lying.  Bella never told Mike she was pregnant.  The entire yacht stunt was to lure Bella even more into Mike.  He treated her like an arm ornament.  Nothing more nothing less.  He was more interested in his businesses and his mistresses.  Probably fooling around with more than Jessica.  Bella was just a means to an end, a part of his mom's plan for Mike's future.  Maybe in his own sick way Mike had feelings for Bella, but not for her sake his own.  Edward believing Mike was trying to be the good guy and not break up a family.  When they boarded the yacht  Bella and Mike were in an awkward position.  Edward refused to listen to Bella.  Then they met at Collins and Edward was so cruel and cold.  He broke Bella more than anything else in her life.  The rape was devastating to her and humiliating.  It made her feel broken, used, disgusting, dirty, and unworthy of a man's love.  Common feelings after such an incident, none of which are true.  Neither was her feelings of it being her fault.  What a reporters' dream what happened at the wedding?  A scandal from a strong society family in such a wicked triangle/rectangle.  Maid of honor cheating with the groom for over 5 years as well as pregnant.  Degrading and shock. Reporters eating it up and wanting more.  If they knew about the Bella/Edward portion of the triangle would have been even more juicy.  At least Bella only told the two people in her life she truly trusted to keep her secret.  If Jessica hadn't spoken at the altar Edward would have revealed Lenora and Mike's plan to utilize her rape as a political tool to promote Mike's political career.  Stating how broken it made her and Mike giving to a no one from nowhereville and providing help to deal with the pain of her attack.  Bella's courage and strength with her fashion designs along with Newton Corp's help achieve her dreams and produce her fashions.  Showing how much they care about people to help them at all cost.  Very dramatic ending to the wedding ceremony.  Edward and Charlie punching Mike was truly deserved.  Mike was so cruel and mean to Jessica.  Literally treated her as nothing, but dirt, a rug to walk all over and use to disgard whenever he was through with her.  Bella and Edward's hearts both being broken by the events.  If Mike hadn't told him those things he never would have destroyed Bella to keep the wedding going.  Emmett was right Edward should have questioned her about what she and Mike talked about on the yacht matching what Mike told him.  Everything could have been resolved at that time.  The wedding would have been cancelled and Edward and Bella would have left together with no future pain and sorrow.  Bella leaving with Charlie was a smart thing to do, give her time to think.  Of course, she just wanted to veg out.  Not deal with all the pain just feel safe.  Charlie and Jake both told her she had to go home and deal with all the situations she left behind in New York.  Edward needed time to think and have comfort from his parents.  Flying to Hawaii was also very wise on his part.  He came home a lot quicker than Bella on his own.  Bella had to be pushed by her dad and Jake joined in as well.  Between Alice and Edward upon Bella's return to New York started out with Plan A seeing her at the airport.  Edward saw Bella and the intensity of their feelings and connection remained the same.  He also saw the depth of her pain.  He backed off from pursuing her.  Edward mentioned Plan B would need to be implemented.  Alice started to befriend Bella.  She enjoyed her time with Bella and vica versa.  Bella was tricked into Alice's place in order for Edward to talk to her about what happened between them.  Bella wanted to leave, but both Edward and Emmett blocked her way.  Emmett admitted it was his idea Edward broke her due to the information he had been given.  Bella realized Edward still loved her, she also loved him.  Edward was trying to do the decent thing with his belief she was pregnant with Mike's child.  I was surprised that Edward didn't think it could have been his child after all no protection was used in their one encounter.  Bella agreed to try again with Edward. Rose heard Emmett's confession of his treatment towards Rosalie and she was livid.  She couldn't believe he would use their break up to convince Bella to give Edward another chance.  Emmett went after Rose and confessed his actions all those years ago.  Declared his feelings for her then and now.  Rose agreed to give Emmett another chance.  Happily ever after for both couples.  Will Edward ever tell Bella what Lenora and Mike planned on leaking to the press after the marriage just before her fashion show?  What happened to Jessica?  I was totally surprised that Mike had gifted Bella with complete control and building of her company.  I was so afraid that Lenora and Mike had some loophole for them to take over her company if the fashion show and her designs were a success.  Great Alice had another attorney check out the document.  I thought she would have had Edward check it out for her, but a neutral party was smarter. Why was Mike still calling Bella all the time?  Did he really think he had a chance in hell of winning her back?  Especially having the nerve to strike her after she told him after herself and Edward.  They only had sex because they were drugged.  Mike did it for 5 years under nothing foreign in his body.  Bella would never allow to be struck again after what she had endured with the rape.  Hopefully Mike and his mother Lenora realize that any further contact with Bella could be diaster for them especially if Bella went to the press with her  story.  Even with not liking publicity to end their harassment threatening any further negative publicity to the family and the company would not be financially/economically/personally accepted in their circles and the market.  I sure hope when they gave her, her company it was to appease Bella and society.  Breaking all ties connected to the scandal of the failed society wedding and Bella.  Will there be any further chapters to tie up all the loose ends?  Such as Jess?  Mike? Lenora? Status of Edward and Bella for their future?  Along with Alice/Jasper? And Rosalie/Emmett?  A truly delightful and exciting story from start to the current chapter.  Thanks for a great story.

How can Bella be so trusting and blind? I'm not sure if it's something that she refuses to see or is actually oblivious to Mike and Jessica.  Loved the talk with Charlie. ;)
