I LOVE Emily taking care of Bella.
I LOVE how protective Jake is of Bella.
And I friggin LOVE Embry:
“Okay, just like in the dress rehearsal, doll face.” I scowled at the nickname but allowed him to slide his arms beneath my back and knees. “Wait,” he said, pausing before he lifted me, “you want me to run and get the ketchup from the fridge so I can give you a few squirts? For effect? I’m not quite getting the same thrill I did last time.”
Heee! This literally made me laugh out loud. Too good.
He nervously entered the bathroom with a hand slapped over his eyes asking, “Is everything covered? ‘Cause I really don’t want to die, and Jacob can be very, very scary when he gets the inclination. And me seeing parts of you that he hasn’t would most definitely give him the inclination.”
Yep, Jake would kill him. I love that he covered his eyes!
Oh shoot, Edwards back already? Bah. Can't you hold off just a bit? I like Bella in an Edward-less world.

I really hope that Bella and Leah get to talk, I'm really interested with their dynamic.

Author's Response: Okay, is it wierd that i don't think the lines are that funny until one of you guys points them out? And then I'm like, "Wow, that was pretty clever. How on earth did I do that?" Yes? No? *shrugs*
Don't worry about the Edward Mob coming to lynch you. ;) I don't think many of them have stuck around the story this long. Which is a shame, because I would love feedback from both sides. I love Jacob AND Edward. Just for different reasons.

I'm entirely curious about Bella and the fever and if/how she is, as she blurted out, a "dog" too. (Not sure if that's a direct quote, but the impression was left, anyway.)
So what constitutes a gigantic chapter?:D
Author's Response: Embry is my secret lover and he gives me favors in return for him geting page time. Shhh, don't tell anyone! ;)
The dog comment was just a side-affect her hazy mind while on drugs. When I came out of surgery and was on meds, I said lots of random things (most of them I don't even remember, which is probably a good thing!) so I felt a need to convey that.
Gigantic, as in several pages (on Word) longer than usual.

Hmm even though I'm more a B&E fan (when Ed's not being a dunderhead), I'm liking the interactions between Bella and Jacob here. I especially like Quil's role in the story so far though, and really hope that Leah and Bella get to spend some time together soon to clear the air, so to speak.
Hopefully Leah will not have to stay so defensively angry for very long.
Oh, and very clever and subtle dig at Edward's style of dealing with Bella's "humanity" compared to Jacob's at the end there hehe
Looking forward to finding out more about Bella's power(s) too!!!
Author's Response: Oh, good! I was beginning to think that no one would catch onto the Edward v. Jacob comparison. It was completely ON PURPOSE that I gave Jacob a situation to deal with that was almost exactly like what happened with Jasper. The entire chapter was set up to show how J and E reacted both differently and similarly to one another. *Smiles that it wasn't a wasted effort*
I love Edward, too, when he's not being stupid. Let's hope he's able redeems himself some in this story.

LOVED that line. It made me laugh, because I could actually picture Jake's reaction. I am just loving Embry in this story, with how caring and helpful he is with Bella.
I can't wait to see how the whole 'Edward' sitation pans out. I hope he leaves just as soon as he arrives, haha! I don't want it to mess with Bella's emotions toward Jacob now that she admitted she loves him!

Author's Response: Bella has to be the most forgiving person on the planet, so I figured it'd be pretty easy for her to write off what Leah did on accident.

Ah, poor Jacob. He loves her so much. For all intensive purposes, Bella has become his entire life. He doesn't truly understand how much of her heart has been already given away. This story is so good. I love it!

Author's Response: Hmmm...skimming through the chapter I couldn't find a place where I said how many members there were. At that point there were 5 of them: Sam, Jacob, Jared, Paul and Embry. Did I say that there were six of them somewhere?
