I love this story. So intense and underplayed and desperate... And yet it ends on a note of hope. Goes straight to the heart.

Your writing is awesome! I love it! More, please...

Hey babes. I haven't read anything of yours recently and I fail.  But I did likey this very much.  I love that bellas not perfect. I get sick of reading about perfect bella with silky smooth skin and concave tummy. Give me a real person every time flaws and all. Makes us ordinary folk feel less inadequate eh?

Oh, and FYI where I come from a "diddy" is another thing entirely *snigger*

That was truly beautiful.  I have to admit, at first I was really freakin worried.  I mean, I absolutely despise Tanya with a passion.  That woman just makes my damn skin crawl.  So when you granted us with her departure, I was so relieved!

Poor Edward.  He was so pained because of Tanya, but Bella definitely fixed that.  Your description of their first time together was just too good.  It almost had me shed a tear!

Thank you for sharing this with us.  I do hope that you are compelled to keep writing more like this. :D

It was such a warm and fluffy lemon that made my heart all warm and happy.

I have to say, the beginning had me worried, with Tanya and all that. But I had faith that it will be good in the end and so it did. x

This is beautiful. Thank you.

I also love the mention of how "Her stomach wasn't completely flat and her skin wasn't silky smooth." Why do so many people think that only toned up abs and perfect hard bodies can be sexual, sensual and seductive?

Most of the time, I wouldn't touch stories like this, but this was really, really good. It was beautiful, sensual and very well-written. It also didn't have the porn-movie plot cheesiness I expect. I'm glad I took a chance with this one, it was fabulous!

Thanks for sharing this entry.  I was hoping too see what other writers have written for this difficult contest.

This was a great story revealing what love and lust was without using the words.  Cheers!

I have to say, one of the things I really like about this one-shot is how, in its unique way, it honors canon. Edward is damaged, he has no faith in himself whatsoever and he doesn't believe he's allowed to be happy.

Bella heals him. Plain and simple.

Not that the sex isn't great, but I like how, unlike most stories, it isn't the most perfect and unachievable thing ever in the history of copulation. It's perfect for them... I love that line!

Thanks again for sharing!

Wow, this was very moving and deep - and I loved it - I "felt" it - and that means so much when reading something of this intensity - so wow again - great work here!!!  xoxox Valerie  ;)

Very sweet and sensual. My favorite thing about it was that Bella was showing Edward that he was worthy, and she was worshiping him with her love. Normally it's written vice versa. So I liked seeing Edward as the vulnerable one this time :-)

amazing entry. I have been a litle numb for the last few days but this story made me feel. Iy is brilliant!

Author's Response:

You are always too kind Beignet.  I'm glad you found something in it that struck you.

so far so good.

Author's Response:

I can tell you with conviction that this story will not continue.  I think Edward has said all he needs to say on the issue :)  Thank you for reading and reviewing!

I am a huge fan of yours!  You have some amazing talent running through your veins and I am in awe of you!  I can't wait to read more from you in the future!

Author's Response:

Wow.  Thank you very much.  Knowing that someone enjoys my writing in general is very humbling.  I'll do my best to keep your interest!

Reviewer: Bella_Cullen884 (Signed) · Date: July 27, 2009 11:59 AM · On: Deserving

This was great! You should continue this! I think that if you did, it would be an awesome story!

Author's Response:

I appreciate your enthusiasm but I really think this is best left alone.  Edward wants some alone time, lol.  Thank you for the review!

You made me cry a little bit, which probably means you've accomplished the goal of this excercise. I would say you definitely accomplished it.

Really powerful stuff.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much.  I think admitting to ourselves that we're worthy is a double edged sword - happy and sad at the same time.
