Love the chapter. Glad I found you. The characters are a lot of fun and sexual adventure is well paced. :)
Here are some Latin phrases you might find useful in a given context.
Amor vincit omnia - Love conquers all. (Virgil)
Cogitationis poenam nemo patitur - Nobody should be punished for his thoughts
Cotidie damnatur qui semper timet - The man who is constantly in fear is every day condemned. (Syrus)
Difficile est tenere quae acceperis nisi exerceas - It is difficult to retain what you may have learned unless you should practice it. (Pliny the Younger)
Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus - Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon. (motto of Harry Potter's alma mater)

It's funny; I haven't hung around with guys for a few years (getting married does that, I guess) and I had totally forgotten the brutal back and forth that boys do when they start a pissing contest. Made me smile. And your backstory about Dr. Coon was hilarious! I can't believe that actually happened!

I love Alice and Bella's interaction! They sound so in synch!!

Lots of fun and I still just love this story. I'm glad that Bella's remembering and recognizing triggers with someone who's not pushy. That's very very good for her. The dream was hilarious!

Great chapter - i read it this morning and I don't remember if I left my comments or not. I might have run out of time and was rushing out the door or something. Regardless, I liked the dialogue back and forth and how frank they both feel like they can be with each other. It's a rare thing...

You mentioned researching latin sayings, well I have taken 3 years of latin I thought that I might be able to give you a few. Here are a few of my favorites
Parvula despiciens, conquirit maxima nunquam (The one who dispises the little things never is able to add up the big things)
Cogitationes posteriores sunt saniores (Second thoughts are wiser ones)
Non omni eundem calceum induas pedi (Every shoe fits not every foot)
Omnia qui temptat, nil apte perfecit unquam (One who tried everything perfects nothing, well, ever)
Non omnis qui nobis arridet, amicus est (Not everyone who laughs with us is a friend)
Errare humanum est, ignoscere divinum (To err is human, to forgive divine)
Omne initium difficile (Every beginning is difficult)
Ex improviso subvenit ipse Deus (It is always darkest just before the dawn)
In amaritudine salus (In bitterness there is salvation)
I don't know if any of these can help you at all. It didn't really seem like Edward did a lot of translating, just things he knew, which is likely if he has only taken a year or so of Latin. Great story! I hope this helps to get the next chapter out faster :~)

little lemon-scented wet naps HAHAHAHA Is it sad that whenever I see the word lemon, I pray it's foreshadowing? Oh, fanfic, you eat my brain...
Author's Response: Okay! with that one, you out-perved the perv!
Even I don't think that way you loon!
Repeat after me, "A wet nap is just a wet nap! Jules would not use a sanitary wipe to foreshadow sex....ever!"

I loved this chapter. And the food references were great. And for me, so relate-able. When I lived in San Diego I used to accompany my sister, who is a teacher, on the 7th grade field trip to Knott's. The first stop was always the chicken restaurant for breakfast. We still go down to SD every year and try to hit up Disney every couple of years and we love the Burrrbank Ice Cream. The waffle cones are to die for!! The dialogue, both internal and external was hilarious and so revealing. Great work.

Yes but long chapters are fun, and this one was great, as always. All the talk about Knott's and CA Adventure makes me miss California so badly! My hubby & I had season passes for Disneyland and went to Knotts a few times when we lived in San Diego. I'm trying to convince my hubby to let us move back there once we've both finished our degrees. :)

Julesnerd. Go right now and rent it(Ok, when you can) It is frickin hilarious with Jamie Lee Curtis getting turned on when ever her lover says somethin in a foreign language. There are a couple of Pythoners in it. A Must see! Kevin Kline won an Oscar.

I love the latin! Did you get the idea from a Fish Called Wanda? Hysterical! I still laugh out loud(really, I'm not just saying that) at every chapter!
Author's Response: I've never seen that movie. Am I emulating something? I guess at some point it's inevitable...there's nothing new under the sun!
Reviewer: laurelbarnes (Signed) · Date: September 13, 2009 08:04 PM · On: Chapter 10: Morning Amusements
gi joe make me laugh
Author's Response: I spent many a summer digging trenches for my brother's GI joe dolls. Sadly, he boycotted Barbie from the outdoor doll games. We melted a few using a lighter. Almost got caught. I didn't mind playing with boy toys. It was way more fun than playing in the plastic kitchen.

Loved the chapter but it made me way to Hungry, I'm a NorCal girl myself so I can't get to any of these places you talk about.
Author's Response: You're not too far away to visit, though! Sorry about the hunger pangs. It's AH, so the kids need to eat!

Wow - thanks for toning it down slightly - though it was still pretty rough to read. Yes I'm still reading your story instead of working, though this REALLY is the last chapter of the night. Again, this is incredibly sweet and seriously, Edward has the patience of a saint! Love it!!
Author's Response: At first I thought you were writing about chapter 20 which has all kinds of sexy times in it. So I was like, "toning it down??WTF?" and then, like a dumbass, I realized you were writing about chapter 5. I have the story on two sites, and it makes me lose my mind when responding to reviews as they come in. I'm glad the chapter dealing with her assault wasn't too hard to read. I've had a few readers that actually experienced rape. When I got the A-OK from those two, I breathed a sigh of relief. I wouldn't want to misrepresent anyone out there...
