Another, lovely chapter and a nice lead-in to chapter 5. I am glad Bella your Bella is not as self-depricating as so many others.

Just a little alert to watch corresponding pronouns and verb usage (see underlined words.)
"She caught Edwards eye and saw that her was desperately trying to maintain a neutral expression."
"...and it wasn't long after that he came to give the same career talk I just have."

I look forward to hearing more about James and the steroid fiasco in Florida.

Really nice chapter. I like how your characters are believable on their own and not exaggerated caricatures of S. Meyers characters. Well done (especially Rose, Jess and Jacob's characters!)

I also commend you for making the Bella and Edward meeting unique and not following one of the two common threads of most fanfic stories:
1. BxE experience love at first sight
2. BxE are mortal enemies
I like the originality that Bella assessed Edward good looks, noticed him and Edward acted civily towards Bella (not cooly or angrily like in every other story when they meet). They met like normal people who didn't hyper judge the other.

This is refreshing and I am enjoying reading it.

BTW: What is a jumper? When you mentioned that Rose was wearing a jumper I assumed it was a dress; but then you said it probably belonged to Emmett, so that ruled out that assumption -- unless there more to learn about Emmett. Just need a definition for those of us in the States.

Sorry for the British-isms! I do try to avoid them, but a few have slipped through the net! A jumper is what you guys would call a sweater, I guess? But the idea of Emmett in a dress is wonderfull enough to make me wish that jumpers were a type of dress! (Confusingly, there is also such a thing as a jumper dress...)

A really nice fic and I read all four chapters in one go. It was quite interesting to see the Cullens and the community relaxing and having drinks together in so comfortable and beautiful an environment. And I like the friendship between Rose and Jacob and the fact that she works for him is so out there yet realistic as they both like they cars.

Edwards seems nice despite what is going on in his life and I hope that he and Bella connect with each other.

Alice and Emmett will always be themselves. And, James is also someone to avoid.

Love the career day speech.
