Wow, this was gutwrenching.

"I told that lousy asshat that I was in love with him and he fucking ran off like I had a venereal disease.  What kind of jackass does something like that?"  I was almost yelling and my eyes hurt.

Emmett's face was creased in thought and his gaze wandered up over my head.  He nodded. 

 

"The kind of jackass that's been so screwed over by love he doesn't even know when it bites him on the ass."

 

 

 

Oh, fuck off, Emmett. That is complete bullshit. "Poor little guy, he's been hurt, so we must all tiptoe around his fragile feelings and let him do what he wants."

I'm so tired of people making excuses for guys hurting people.

I'm glad the air has been cleared about Tanya. It seems Edward is finally getting over her. Phew it suddenly got hot in here. So they finally did it? It's about time.... Great story.

Ah, Edward the knight in shining armour rescuing damsel Bella. Excellent.

Wow she told him. 

But Edwards reaction was telling.  His arguments about love sound like a philisophical teenager trying to sound interlectual when really he has no idea what he wants or how to get it.  He's driffting, that's what this whole ride of into the sun set is.  I get that it's a ride of self discover but he seems to tie so much of himself to his writing that I don't think he realises that he doesn't really KNOW himself.  In a way I think this will be good for him but ultimately I think it will benifit him as a person more that it will his writing.  Until he really knows himself and what he wants, his writting will always drift becasue he lacks direction, even interlectual direction.

 

Can't wait for the next chapter (and/or an Edward POV on this chapter) and maybe the return of Eddiecat in our prodical hero's absence, to comfort Bella in the bad times ahead (that did sound dirty didn't it. Woops).

Just spent today reading your cute story.  So much going on.  I really like what you have done with the characters.  I can't wait to find out more about what is dark about Edward.

Bella finally admits her feelings and Edward shits all over them. Just great, Bella will probably put a damn brick wall up now.

I am not an artist in the sense described here, but I can respect art as a calling.  I am a pastry chef and create my own art that is fleeting...only to be consumed.  But I hope it is equally as memorable as the art you have described and created in this story.  A well written and brave play on life...though it is not based solely on your life you still have the guts to put a piece of yourself out there...quite successfully in my humble opinion..Keep it up and can't wait to hear more.  I found this when it was mentioned in another story here (the longest summer).

I really am enjoying your story! I just found and read it in a day and a half ( all while writing 2 final papers). Your make me wish I was more artistic. I"ve played instruments my entire life but never felt really artistic, just adequete. I really envy those who are innately creative. I cant wait for the next update!
