Great chapter. Poor Bella. I can't imagine what she's gone through. I'm a little worried about what she'll do when she finds out Edward was the one who got her rapist acquitted. Can't wait to read more.

hi! I think you have a really good story going, but I think you gave away some very important plot keyes in your summary. I would have liked to be surprised by the revalation of Edward helping Bellas rapist, but now I kinda know whats going to happen.

Oh dear God.  Nikki, I loved this chapter on so many levels.  First of all, I was heartbroken at the level of self loathing that Bella feels. The way she blames herself and feels dirty and tainted is absolutely heartbreaking.  The way you wrote it made me tear up.  Foreshadowing of her thinking about Edward finding out about her past was just so sad.

It's also so sweet how happy he made her.  Their courtship is just so -- innocent and pure.  It really is sweet and so clearly what they both need.

On to Alice - you've crafted an excellent best friend in Alice, combining many of her canon qualities (dressing Bella, etc.) with realistic best-friend characteristics.  She's there for Bella all the way, and that support I'm sure is much of what has gotten B through much of her ordeal.

I also laughed out loud very hard over the whole Capt Crunch issue.  That was quite funny and it was something cute you carried over from last time.

Loved her confiding in Alice, and Alice figuring out that Bella is already pretty close to being in love with him.

Love, love this story.  I just can't say it enough.  Many people just want a story with lemons -- I tell you, this story is excellent and dramatic, heartbreaking and beautiful all at the same time.

I am so glad Bella is trying.  I am hoping she changes her mind and talks to Edward about why she can't go on a night date. The picnic at the park and the zoo sound wonderful. I can't wait for the next chapter.

I really liked the rest of the date night, and I felt bad for poor Edward because he couldn't catch a break and kiss Bella.  It was cute how they held hands on the couch though, and it was so sweet how Edward kissed Bella's hand when he said goodnight.  The dream that he had later was definitely interesting.

I guess Emmett did redeem himself just a little bit, but I think he still has a long way to go.
