I'm glad that Edward and Bella had that talk because I think they both needed it. And love how fiercely protective Alice is over Bella because that's how a best friend should be.

This was a great chapter that progressed things along nicely I think. First off, welcome back Cynthia! I know I'm not he only one who missed her. Her relationship wth Edward seems a combination of playful banter and great friendship, yet deep down you can feel that they each have deep love and affection for the othe, not to mention respect.
Carlisle is such a wonderful father figure for Edward. It's good to see that he's got more and more people surrounding him with support. If I contrast from the beginning, it was like nobody was there for him, at least not anyone he wanted to acknowledge or let in. He was so alone at the beginning of the story - he had Emmett and Cynt, but still he was in self-imposed exile. It's good to see him let other people in.
I'm liking the direction that you're going in that you're mixing some crime-drama elements into the story now. It just keeps the story so darn interesting!!!! Ted's profession is gonna come in handy.
I am exhausted - and barely awake trying to type a coherent review. I suspect I'm failing. Great job sweetie and can't wait to see what happens next!

I don't remember the last time I reviewed - sorry for that :(
but I do really appreciate your story; it's interesting. But this really really bothered me... so I'm going to go ahead and comment on it. Love the chapter, love the plot twist with Tanya's involvement. But I think the chapter would have been only about 3 times better if you had left it with Cynt talking, and cut out the "FUCK ME!" thing. it just seemed strange and out of place. and don't think that I have a problem with the language.... because jesus, it's almost a requirement of my life.
But it was just.... so out of place, and just made the whole thing so much more immature.
Keep the rest of it up though! Because aside from those 2 WORDS I do love it!
Author's Response: The chapter was from Edward's point of view and those last two words were the last words that went through his mind when Cynthia dropped her bombshell. It is completely in character for Edward to think like that. Bella on the other hand would never have thought those words. The opening of the next chapter will make those two words make sense and they will seem more appropriate.
