*Sob.  I can’t believe Charlie’s gone.  It’s so heartbreaking.  I love that all the Cullens and rest of the clan have huddled together to help Bella.  Lending the car, the house, Edward’s room.  And then when he was there when she woke up!  Perfect. 

I just have to say, I love Em.  He’s always one to make light of a situation and help everyone to not feel so awkward. 

I knew Carlisle would understand and not blame Bella.  That it was the situation she was reacting to, not him.  No ill feelings to Carlisle either.  He did what he had to do.  He took a big enough risk with Charlie and the ventilator. 

EM AND ROSE ARE ENGAGED?!  How awesome.  Glad someone could bring a little happiness in the mix. 

Perfect chapter…enough happiness to mix with the sad.  Very well done.

I'm so glad Edward is back, but poor Charlie. My question now is how is Jacob gonna take this? Is Jerkob gonna show up or is he going to bow out gracefully?

Love that they are all together again!  It was Charlie's mistake not telling Bella about his health issues, not Carlisle's.  My heart breaks for her that she's lost her dad, but so glad that she is surrounded by those who love her.  Look forward to the next update!

Ah, the reunion! Carlisle couldn't tell Bella anything, especially against Charlie's wishes. :( Doctors and nurses have their obligations to the patient first, and at least Carlisle tried to tell Charlie to talk to Bella.  *sigh*

Bella is so lucky to have the Cullens, and I am so happy that she realizes that. :)

Yay for a wedding! :) I hope we get to see it! On the other hand funerals are hard to write; I know that I'd be crying the entire freaking time. :( Good luck with that!

I think that Charlie would be happy knowing that Bella was in such good hands, and he definitely would be happy that she's smiling and laughing.  She's not being disrespectful to his memory at all.

Yes, charlie should have been a little more honest with Bella. I think he knew that she would have all the Cullen's rallying around her to make it better. And yes, a wedding is in the future!! good times do lie ahead for the six. And keep the tissue's handy, we still have the funeral.

No it was Charlies decision to keep Bella in the dark and it wasnt Carlisle place to go against his wishes and tell Bella!!!

I think Carlisle was right to do it, even though I feel so sorry for Bella not knowing. He did his job. Also I cannot wait until Jacob and Edward meet. I keep thinking something bad is going to happen when they are all together! This chap was great, I love that they're all together again, even if it was still so sad!

I will clear this up for you, Tanya will not show up to the funeral. We still have yet to really see her and we will, in due time, but Forks is not the place for her. Nor will it ever be.

I haven't been reviewing because I just stared this story and read it all the way through to here. I love it! It is so sweet and sad and true to life. I moved away from home after high school and life is never quite the same after. I never moved back and often think back to my best friends. We are all spread out across the US now. It's hard to keep people together and, unfortunately, deaths and weddings seem to be the only events that draw everyone back together.

I don't know where the story will end up, but I'm looking forward to finding out. I don't know if I want them all to move back to Forks, but I would at least like the couples to be together whereever they do end up. I think I would be okay with Bella in New York or Edward in New Orleans. Same with Alice and Jasper.

Anyway, thanks for sharing this story. I look forward to your next update.

I don't think Carlisle was wrong for not telling Bella.  It is what Charlie wanted. Knowing how he feels about Bella it must have been very dofficult for him to keep it from her.

He did however do what he thought was right in the long run  and kept Charlie alive long enough for her to see him. 

Honestly he had to choose between two unethical choices.  He chose the one with the least ramifications.

An unconscious Charlie can't complain about his DNR.  But an alive Charlie could be pissed about the Dr/Patient Confidentiality issue.  Not that I think he would of anyway.  I mean it's Charlie.

Carlisle was in a tough spot. He kind of did what was best for both of them in a sense. He didn't break dr/patient conf. but the did keep him on the ventilator until Bella could arrive. he did what he thought was best, thanks for seeing that!!!
