don't get me started with nick and kelley, although i like that you made Rob see she wasn't just a Becca-clone!

Author's Response: I know right? Why can't we all just get along with those we love? No fights, no misunderstanding, no jealousy, no anger. I distinctly telling a certain Rob and Jen to talk and listen to each other, too. Unfortunately, life is not that way.

Just a clarification of my last review - its Rob and Rebecca I want together. Nick can go .......???? Actually I don't really care where he goes - just not back to Rebecca. Not that they were ever really together together - s...., all 3 of them are in need of therapists.

I just went and reread chapters one and two, and OMG. She IS still in love with Nick. Rob was just a diversion. It has always been Nick. I will admit, I am heartbroken. I am sure you knew this all along, but to discover this is so sad. Oh, well. I should have remembered. I knew how much she loved him way back when they were younger, but I forgot how much she still cared for Nick even when he brought Rob to her. Sigh. Even though I am totally upset, this is an amazing, well written, well planned story.

I don't hate them, but I am heartbroken. I don't like Nick much, frankly. I adore Robert, and I really want Rob to be with her. I don't like that she might choose Nick. At all. In fact, I have now discovered that I am very mad at Rebecca. She is stupid to give up Rob. Can I have him? Will you write the story so he goes to a bar, sees me across the room, realizes that I am the one he wants and then write at the bottom of the page "and they lived happily ever after. And had 4 cute kids. And traveled the world together. OMG. Now I sound like I want to be Brangelina, but with ROB! OY. I had a migraine today and I am still riding the wave of crazy from my meds. OK...I want Rob and Rebecca to be together and I don't care where Nick goes. Done rambling. But I love the story and hope you will update sooner rather than later... :) Oh, and I am not totally crazy. really.

What the heck is going on with Nick?! Is he in love with her or what? Or is it just a weird coincidence? And is anything ever going to be mentioned about the fact someone pushed her down those steps? I guess she hasn't remembered yet? Was it a psycho fan or just a crazy in general? I hope you update soon!
Author's Response: Thank you for your review and welcome to The One. I love to hear from new voices in the reviews. I tried to establish at some point, and may be I did not a good job of it, that the fall down the stairs was accidental. It is quite easy to get shoved on those particular steps because that corner is extremely busy.
Chapter 23 is awaiting validation. I look forward to hearing what you think of it.

That whole time in his life was just maddening. you portrayed it well. i especially liked seeing it from Nick's perspective.

I love how they are really getting to be comfortable with one another.
i liked the visual of Rob a this keybaord- so relaxed and normal. i could see the ratty t shirt and sweats! hahaha
and the meeting of the parents. nice.
I'm glad her mother is setting her straight. she needs to take care of herself. she can't expect Nick or rob to do it for her really.
