Yes very clever of you to end in a spot that would have us desparate for more! *g*
I, like everyone else I'm sure, was disappointed that Bella was't with Jasper to meet Edward and Alice, but I figured she had to be at least near, since she had said she remembered where the house was. I figured she went ahead to see if it was a trap at first. Then I wondered if she realized that the Volturi were headed in the same direction, which seems was the case, whether Bella realized it or not.
My heart broke when Jane used her horrid power on Edward -- twice! (I don't like Edward being hurt, can you tell?) And I was elated that Edward killed Demetri, and that Bella made Evan and Jane walk into the fire! Of course, just at the moment that I hoped Edward would have the chance to speak with Bella, the chapter ended. Aaaacccckkkkk!!!! What can I say? I'm quite eager to see what happens next. Go figure! Hope you post another chapter soon.

Author's Response: Yay cliffhangers! Meeting with Jasper and Alice as a mediator would have been too easy. Had to set them up for a little drama with no one to step in and stop em. :) The next chapter is coming soon, and it will answer questions about where Bella took off to and, obviously, really get into B&E's reunion. Oh dear lord the agony of a cliffhanger. I wonder what in the world is going on in Isabella's mnd. I am so glad they are meeting face to face but can't help but wonder if Bella will remember Edward leaving her and have a complete meltdown. Please update soon...

So, I was driving the other day and the Green Day Song "wake me up when September ends," came on, and all I could think of. This is so how your Edward was surviving while away from bella. Especially considering her birthday, according to SM, was in September. I could see him, just not being able to function during that month.
So this chapter so rocks, but then you knew that already! We're not going to have to deal with Pussyward or Emoward, are we? We need a strongward!!!

I must have missed that this story was updated. I've been reading your story, but don't remember if I have reviewed. I wanted to see where you were going with it first.
I don't like this Bella, though, I suppose this is what she would be like if she had been with the Volturi for 65 years. (I *hate* Victoria! Go figure!) (I hat the Volturi too -- just saying!)
I want to see her get back together with Edward, so I'm glad that she is going with Jasper. Hopefully seeing Edward will inspire memories that she has lost.
If B & E getting back together at the end of the day (or story) is not where you are headed, I may like your alternate chapter 9 better. :) But I will definitely hang in to see. BTW -- I *loved* it when Bella was drunk! *g*
