wow. So last chapter I was feeling sorry for Bella but knowing the amount of pain Edward must be in right now just makes me want to cry for him.
It's bad enough thats he's gone the last 60 years living in the memory of her but now thats all been shattering since she doesn't remember him and doesn't really care to. I mean I know from BPOV its a little more complex for that but Edward is just facing moment of rejection after another.

Being in BPOV I really felt the paranoia and frustration that she felt during the family talk. I do think it's sorta weird that Bella is a runner now. She's always running away. It seems kinda strange, especially as a shield. Couldn't she just retreat into her mind and block everyone out if she needed alone time to think?
Author's Response: Yeah, she is kinda a runner now, which is odd considering how bad ass she is. haha. She could use her shield to retreat from everyone, but she would still be surrounded physically (and distracted by dear sweet Edward and his hotness), hence the running. Thanks for the review!

Well looks like you hit the 500 mark! Congrats! Thanks too for the shout out :) I'm so happy I got to read two chapters at once too!
I loved this chapter. I find it ironic that Bella and Rose seem to be the most natural together. Poor wee pixie Alice though, your descriptions were vivid and I could just see her bouncing at the restraints from Jasper to get through and hug Bella.
I loved that Bella tossed Emmett across the clearing :) and I think Emmett enjoyed it too.
It sucks to see that Bella has taken her insecurities from her human life with her into her Vampire state. I hope that she talks to someone about it and realises that no-one is dissapointed in her. I have a feeling that if she doesn't explain what she is thinking then it might be a bad thing.
I wonder if Jasper can feel how she feels? And will be able to let the other sknow how Bella is feeling?
Another wonderful chapter, can't wait for more...
Author's Response: Thanks for the awesome review! I'm not sure if Rose and Bella are ever going to become actual friends or not. Just have to see where the story takes me. Yeah, for as strong as she is, Bella is still very self-depricating and insecure. Jasper can't pick up on her feelings, though. One of the changes I made: as long as her shield is up she is immune to all abilities, including his and Alice's. So he can't help. :( It'll work out eventually, though. (I won't tell when or how though) Thanks again!

great chapter. love that she kicked emmet's butt and connected w/ rosalie. i'll bet edward isn't upset over disappoint in bella, he's probably tormenting himself about the memory of how he left her--typical edward. gotta love him though.
