Wow good for Edward!  Completely unexpected, until we find out that he knows about Bella and Carlisle.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That's all I can really say.  That and I wish you'd update quicker, but I know if you did, it probably wouldn't be written as well.  This story is my guilty pleasure and I look forward to it constantly.  I've actually even re-read it a couple times.  I cannot even imagine where it will go from here, but I look forward to it.  I love Edward, Bella, and Carlisle in this one and feel for them all.

It's awesome when someone reads the fic once, but to re-read it is amazing! Thank you! I really do feel awful for making it a 4 week wait most of the time. I do try and get them out faster, but writer's block is a bitch and well, my kids insist on having attention. What's with that? LOL I will do my best to get chapter 15 out faster.

Most of the way through this chapter I was smiling to myself and thinking (possibly out loud and with accompanying squees) 'I love Carlisle'. Towards the end of the chapter though?! I still love him (obviously, who wouldn't?) but I have to admit to being a little upset with him right now (unless of course he has decided to leave Bella and marry me; unlikely I admit). I can't wait for the next chapter so that I can find out what your cunning plan is re this plot line.

I am upset with him too. Really, I don't think he explained his reasons properly. The age excuse? Yes, it is a factor, but they've talked about it a lot. But it will make sense next chapter. Hopefully....

For what it's worth I 'm sticiking to your story regardless and hll yeah to a man humming uncle Kracker!

To me, that song totally describes how Carlisle would feel about Bella. It's fun and flirty, but there really is a message there!

I'm still sniffling from the C/B break up.  Ouch.  I liked how she knew it was coming - isn't that the truth?  Whenever my mom calls and has bad news, I can feel it coming after the first word pops out of her mouth.  I liked that Edward had the restraint in that situation.  I think that says a lot about his character that Bella will appreciate down the road, when her head is clearer.  Can't wait to hear how Edward found out!  Update soon, please!

It's that woman's intuition! I really do hope that after all this, Bella can see the good in Edward. He is an ass, but I believe he has a reason for acting like he does most of the time.

wow. intense chapter. i am sooooo glad e didn't turn out to be quite as big a tool as he seemed he would have been. he did the right thing by stopping. not to mention how supportive he was throughout the chapter. i think there really is a good guy under all his bravado.

i'm bleedin brokenhearted over carlisle's phone call though. poor bella. possibly even poor carlisle too. i am reserving judgement on that whole situation until next chapter (for which i am holding my breath- btw!) to better explore the why's of his 180. oh, and i'm dying to find out how exactly e really found out about carlisle & bella.

One of the reasons this chapter too so long to write is because of the breakup. Everytime I sat down to write it I seriously felt sick, which is why it didn't go into a lot of detail. The reasons behind will be revealed next chapter!

OUCH! kinda horrible to hear that bella is fucking his father and then coming on to him! I thought there would be an Edward-Bella action here from the synopsis but I guess this is only a Bella-Carlisle story afterall. Disappointed very much...

Like I said in my A/N I really thought Bella and Edward would get it on. I'm sorry you're disappointed, but I think it really tells about his character. Starting this fic I wrote the synposis like I did because it was supposed to be a B/E fic. I can see where you got the idea from, but reading it over now it asks the question what will happen when she meets the best man's son. Does it imply sex? Yes, it could. But it can also imply a whole lot of drama that is about to unfold.

One thing I love about your story, is that even if you go a while between updates, you always make it up by having nice, long chapters!  This was a hard chapter with Carlisle dec and all, but I love/hate the way you ended it!  Talk about a cliffie!     I love that Jasper figured it out and that Edward had and just waited until the end to throw it at her!  Poor Bella!

Thank you! I know I got awhile between updates which is why I try to give longer chapters to make up for the wait. I'm glad they go over well! This one was over 30 pages!
