I'm... really having trouble seeing Edward be so hurtful to Bella. He's very hungry, I grant, but I truly believe that once he found she'd moved on he would have done everything he could to shield her from his hurt feelings. Also, he wouldn't have blamed her. He might have expressed a lot of concern for her safety with Jacob and I could see in what he would consider his weaker mooments he would try to woo her back. He would even mutter comments about Jacob under his breath. But I just can't see his behaving as shown here.
Author's Response: It was hard for me to write. But I really think Edward needs a harsh wakeup call to realize the mistakes he made with Bella. And seeing her relationship with Jacob is a good way to do that. Notice how he blamed Jacob and then Alice for what happened. It wasn't until he was incredibly hurt that he lashed out at Bella.

I can't tell you how relieved I am after reading this chapter. I was so afraid that you were going to have her go back to Edward. Thank you! Edward was a real jerk. Those were some harsh words towards someone he "loves". Bella made the right decision. Jacob is the one for her!
As for a date idea, I don't know. I'm not very creative when it comes to that. I would just go with dinner and a movie. I don't think it matters as long as they're together. It would be great if it ended with a lemon, though! ;)

Great chapter. Loved the Edward/Bella interaction.
Date idea - What if they go back to the hot springs? That was such a sensuous encounter originally. Wasn't it their first date? They could finish what they started the first time.

Thank you thank you thk u.....for saving Jacob...It's so sad to see Embry go... I was on the edge of my seat all wk waiting for this chapter to be updated. You definately did not disaapoint....I was so happy when Bella regained conciousness that she asked for Jacob..(pricesless) and that she is holding to her resolve to be with him. I cannot believe Edward said what he said to Bella (You would cheapen yourself like that?”) omg....wtf...she should've borrowed Alice's hand for that slap!!!!! hahaha... I can't wait to see what comes up in the next chapt.. but I will try to be patient...lol..
Okay great date place for Jacob and Bella... since I'm a Texan automatically I would say "The Fair"...but my first option would be "The Aquarium"..

WOW!!! I was heartbroken for poor Jacob not knowing if Bella's going to return to him after all that they had gone thru together:(. I almost want her to pick Jacob in the end...just this once.
I'm completely a team Edward Twi-Mom but I love that Bella put him in his place and seems to be choosing Jacob...at least for now ;)! I always felt like Edward should have to work to regain Bella's trust and love, so I can't wait to see what you have in store for J&B and E&B.
I can't get enough of this story and the wait in between updates is excruciating!!! Please update soon!

What a sad but fun chapter to read. After having such a ruff few days they should go do something fun, like take a tour in downtown Seattle. Go to the fish market and see the guys toss fish around. Or take the underground tour of old Seattle. I did it and it was a lot of fun. They have some real crazy stuff downtown. Maybe take her to the space needle and get down on one with a ring?
