She's trying to get her bearings with the whole situation, and the hormones don't help much.  She'll come around, and hopefully she'll make up for it in the second trimester when the raging "I am horny as hell" hormones take over!

WTF is Rebecca calling for? That bitch.  Edward's gifts were so sweet, they brought tears to my eyes.  Then having crazy-fall-off-the-bed-sex was hilarious.  Loved the chapter and I can't wait to see what Charlie is going to say about all this and if Bella is going to kill someone.

Wow Bella was really hateful in this chapter.  I hope that doesn't continue.  In regards to Rebecca, can you say invasive much?  She seems pretty insane.  And yes, Ed Hardy is tool wear.  Jon Gosselin wears it.  Need I say more?

I laughed at your Ed Hardy comment, and yes John Gosselin... Complete TOOL!  Don't worry so much about Bella.  She's just getting her bearings with being around Edward, and well, the morning sickness was embarrassing to her.  Things will get better.

Uh oh!  Bella got caught!

News flash to Bella:  You don't go out to lunch with other guys when you're married.  Not even if you both pick up your own tab.  Nor do you have guy friends that are so close that they become your confidants.  Emotional cheating almost always precedes physical cheating.

And what's with all of the "I'm pushing Edward away so I can prove that I can take care of myself" thing?  She's an adult, she's lived on her own and supported herself for years.  Edward knows that.

And no, she's not going to be able to do the newborn thing without help, no matter HOW stubborn she is.  If Edward wasn't around, she'd make do with her mom or her friends, but I know from experience that you're a basket case for about 6 weeks post partum.  It's everything you can do just to take care of the baby and sleep.

I'm not sure if Bella truly doesn't understand what a husband/wife relationship is supposed to be, or if she's just resisting it--maybe because she and Edward never went through any of the stages that most couples do before getting married where most of the issues of roles, responsibilities, relationships (both their own and the ones they have with others) are resolved.

So maybe her "I'm too independent for a husband" thing is understandable under the circumstances.  But her lunch "date" with Jacob is not.  I'm sure her first words to Edward once he gets off the phone with Rebecca and asks Bella about Jake will be to squawk "But it's not a date!  We're not seeing each other!  He's got a girlfriend!  We're just friends."

That's BS.

She'll be deluding herself and jeopardizing her relationship with Edward in order to prove to herself that she can do all the things she's always done, married or not.  No, I don't think she'll go so far as to sleep with Jacob, but unless she figures out that friendships are different after marriage (and don't include lunch dates), she risks losing everything that's important to her emotionally.

Bella here.  I made Jen take a backseat so I could reply to your review myself.  I just wanted to take a moment and explain some of my thinking to you.  Hope that's okay.

So, yeah.  I don't really realize what it's gonna be like taking care of a baby by myself, and even though it may not seem so, I do want Edward's help.  I just don't want him or his family going overboard.  I have a feeling they tend to do things a little over the top and I can't accept that yet.  Especially with the comment his father made about thinking I'm a gold digger.  I just want to have some time to get to know Edward.  Edward as a person.  We have a connection that is pretty unexplainable, and I want to explore that, before he starts buying things that are ridiculously expensive.  I think that would cause a sense of obligation for both of us.  I know the baby is an obligation, but I don't want to be that. 

As far as the lunch with Jake, I understand your point.  He and I have a huge past together, some good and some bad, but the fact of the matter is, he was my best friend for a long time.  I'm having a really hard time extraditing him from my life when it's beginning to seem like we could be friends again.  I do, however, realize that it could be a tricky situation, but I also know that if Edward doesn't trust me then all of our efforts are in vain.  It's something that I will handle precariously.

Edward and I have decided to be honest with one another.  I fully intend to follow through with that.  I am an independent person, but I'm not delusional.  I realize that this is gonna take a lot of work, and I'm going to do everything I can to give it a fair chance.

I have to admit I loved every stupid happy moment inthis story but espeacialy (I LOVED YOU FROM THE FIRST MOMENT I KNEW ABOUT YOU) . THat just touched my heart  couldb't stop my eyes frm filling up . YOU have TO explain how Jacobs sister got Edwards cell number .
